Riverpaw tensed up and covered her eyes again. "Sh-should've gone to the river."

"Relax, pup. I mean, I'm a pup too, but whatever… we're not gonna hurt you. Sofie may look mean, but she's actually really nice." Lupus set Riverpaw down beside Sofie. "If you haven't got anywhere to go, like I haven't, you might as well join us. We could be your new family!"

Riverpaw looked up at Lupus, then at the larger wolf next to her, then back at Lupus. "N-new..family…r-really?" She squeaked.

Lupus nodded. "They're mine now, seeing as I've been gone so long. My family thinks I'm dead, so Sofie and the others are my family now."

“HEY, I’m not mean-looking! Or am I? Is it the scars?” I smiled at Riverpaw. “You’ve got some odd colors. How interesting.”

"You said it yourself when we met!" Lupus headbutted Sofie's side playfully. "I still think you look lovely."

Riverpaw smiled at the two, then looked at her paws. "Um…d-do you think they l-look weird? M-my colors?"

“No, not at all. They are more… magical.”

Riverpaw smiled, her tail wagging a bit. "N-no one's e-ever said that about them…th-thank you."

"Apparently I'm magical too, but I can't really use my powers without passing out yet." Lupus yawned and sat down by Sofie.

I tilted my head and grinned. “You guys wanna go to the hollow tree?”

Riverpaw tilted her head up. "W-what's that?"

“Oh, that’s where I’m staying for now.”

"Oh, okay, s-sure." Riverpaw sat up slowly.

“Ok, let’s go!” I bounced and walked towards the tree. (I needs some help… I’m trying to name some animals I drew but I gots no idea what to name them…)

Lupus trotted along behind Sofie, glancing back every once in a while to make sure Riverpaw was following.

(I've got TONS of names stockpiled just in case I or someone else needs to name a character or something)
Riverpaw's instincs immediately told her to walk up closer to Sophie, but she still wasn't sure if she fully trusted these wolves. Nonetheless, she kept up with their pace.

(One is an arctic wolf, female,
One is a male fox,
One is a female arctic fox,
One is a male cougar,
One is a female red panda,
One is a coyote, male,
One is a male cheetah,
And the last one is a snow leopard, female.)

(It doesn’t matter. But I’ve stuck to some names:
Viridian for the arctic fox
Fauna for the arctic wolf
And possibly rose for the red panda)
