"I'm not a sociopath," Kane said, glaring at Marianne and Finley. "Or a psychopath." He turned to Finley. "And what makes you qualified to diagnose me? Last time I checked you were a healer and a doctor, not a psychologist."

(when you want to be a psychologist but you cant actually spell the word psychology without spellcheck)
Marianne burst out laughing, leaning down to flick Kane in the head. βWeβre just teasing, Kane, and itβs your fault for bringing the subject up.β

Big oof

(Lol)
I dunno what to do, I could insert Rowan I guessβ¦./
I guess, since everyone else seems to have left
Rowan made his way down from the crows nest, grumbling crossly as he did so. "When can we leave? I hate this city." He asked grouchily and he moved to stand next to everyone.
Marianne chuckled, tossing Rowan the newspaper. βWeβre leaving for Cirus soon, just read this first,β she told him, continuing to scratch behind Saurβs ear.
(wait the form says ryder, not rowan)
Rowan rubbed his eyes and pulled out his clunky reading glasses. After he read it all, he whistled. "Damnnn, Ghost ships?"
(wait the form says ryder, not rowan)
Well shit, I put in the wrong name⦠Let's just pretend that I've been writing Ryder.//
Marianne nodded, heaving a long sigh and hopping back into the deck. Her bare feet hit the deck, her hat tumbling off her head. She sighed again, leaning down to pick it up.
Ryder shrugged, putting his reading glasses back into his bag. "Not the weirdest shit we've had to deal with I suppose."
Marianne shrugged, concern flickering in her eyes before she snuffed it out. One thing at a time, she told herself, glancing over at the shoreline. Cirus first, then deal with the ghost ship. βRight, as our Navigatir, could you plot our course?β she asked him, rubbing a hand through her hair and replacing the tricorn hat on top of it.
"Sure thing Captain Marianne," Ryder said with a smirk and a salute before heading over to his small map room to begin plotting world domination their course.
"Anything you want me to work on, Cap'?" Finley asked as she leaned against the railing, glancing down at the ship's large friend down in the ocean. She liked being on deck and in the fresh air, though she knew that she would most likely need to return back to the infirmary, in case anyone on the crew needed help.
Marianne paused, considering the question. βYeah, actually. If we have anything, do you think you could find something to help with the aftereffects of being hypnotized by a Siren Song?β she asked, glancing down at the water as if one could be lurking there at that very second.

"Possibly. I think I picked up a Book of Monsters and Sea Creatures at the last island once. Maybe there's some sort of information there," Finley replied as she fiddled with the crystal necklace around her neck, a frown on her features as if she were already in deep thought.
Marianne gave a nod, her eyes sweeping the docks ahead of them for potential trouble. Finding none, she turned back to Finley. βThat would definitely be fortunate. Weβll depart for Cirus as soon as Ryderβs done mapping out a course.β
Finley agreed with a short nod of her head, and she took this as a cue to head below deck. As she began to make her way down the staircase, she bit her bottom lip in thought before she decided to make her way towards the navigation room, deciding that she could talk about what was on Cirus with Ryder. Perhaps he could provide her with some insight.
βPermission to go down to Copiae and look for gunpowder, Capitan?β Kane asked, walking closer to Capitan Marianne. βWeβre almost out, and I wanna make sure weβll be alright if weβre attacked.β
βPermission granted,β Marianne told him, leaning back against the rail. βJust donβt be too long, okay? Iβd like us to leave as soon as possible.β
Time skip?///
