(Yet another rando group rp. Hop in, comment with what you want. Any character) Evelyn sat outside on her front porch, with a can of hair spray and a lighter. Classic make shift torch of course. She lived in the run down part of the city, with cracked side walks, Dollar Tree's and Goodwill's/Salvation Army's everywhere. And well with 15 other siblings, things get crazy pretty fast. For now, she was putting on her roller blades, a pair of tennis shoes in her string bag. In it also was her phone, earbuds, charger, a change of clothes, and her wallet which had about $30,since she never knew where life would take her. It was a four day weekend, and she was about to head over to a party her friends was throwing since their parents was out of town. With boys and music and sex and a lot of other shit. But did she tell her moms' that? No. She told her mom she was going to her friend Lilly's house for a sleepover. And since Evelyn knew 16 different Lilly's she knew it was a good lie. It was a partial lie too,so it worked. She then headed off towards the party as the sun began to set, humming a little. By the time she got there, it was already in full swing.
(I'm here! Now I just need to figure out which character to use.)
(Is magic/other races in this?)
(Naw it's just a regular world rp.)
(Got it!)
Zara was already at the party, have a drinking contest with someone. She had already forgotten his name but she didn't care, she just wanted to win the competition. She could hold alcohol really well so she was confident that she would win. Eventually, the guy forfeited. Everybody was cheering and patting her on the back afterward. Her smile was almost ear to ear.
Evelyn walked in, and attention was on the door. Evelyn attended every highschool party. If she heard of it, she was there. It was rare for her to not be at parties. She was well known throughout the city. Life of the party one would say. But tonight, Evelyn the Pansexual Lunatic was not here to drink away her worries or get fucked like there's no tomorrow. She was here for love. A boyfriend to last a week, a girlfriend to last a month. Someone to last forever. She didn't care, she was lonely. And parties were a go-to place to her for that sorta thing. And so she went over to the bar, got herself a margarita, and headed to where the dancing was happening after guzzling one down, and then another. Just to get a slight buzz.
Des slipped into the party, it was as good as anywhere to people watch. They sat on the top of the stairs, having a pretty good view of everyone, it wasn't like they were breaking any rules, they were just sitting there. They were pretty sure it was bring your own beer, so they had just brought a waterbottle with some sprite in it.
(So pure.) Evelyn was surrounded by people on the dance floor, singing along to Katy Perry's Last Friday Night, but her eyes were not focused on the grinders sex addicts, druggies and drunkies surrounding her. She was focused on the corners of the room, the tuck aways. Top of the stairs, nervous watchers.
Des narrowed their eyes at the person watching them, they didn't even know how she was able to think with all the noise blasting into her ears, much less figure out where Des was. And she's going to come over here soon, great. People watching officially ruined.
She slipped away into the crowd, and went to go get another drink. She eyed the room, super used to parties, and after glancing up at Des, decided they deserved some space. She just gave them a small wave and went outside to go get high, and came back to continue dancing, without much else to do.
Des gave a small laugh, almost sad the other didn't come over here. They could've used someone sitting still to draw, oh well, there was still the others at the party. Though that woman does seem very photogenic to draw, I might as well draw her.
And now that she was high, respect was out the window, and she wandered up the stars. Someone grabbed her ass and she turned around and slugged them in the face, she then sat down. "Wow…you get like a totally different view of the party. Sorta peaceful. I'd move before it gets to late, because well people like to fuck." She said with a shrug, taking another drink of whatever had been put in her cup.
"I highly doubt I'll still be at this godforsaken party for that long, I'm just here to draw." They said, tapping their pencil against the sketchpad in their lap. "Would you mind if I draw you, since you're here?"
"Not at all! There's a lot of artists amongst my siblings, pretty used to being a model. Especially for hands." She fluffed her hair, and made sure it looked right.
"Cool, don't move," Des instructed, their expression was completely neutral as they did a basic skeleton then added in features. They stuck their tongue out a bit in concentration, adding in some shading.
Evelyn sat still and let the artist do their work, a smirk on her face before she finished. Cute She thought as she watched him.
"I'm Des." They introduced, setting down their pencil to turn their eyes to Evelyn. Des didn't close the book, but instead let it stay open to she could look at it.
She looked over. "I'm Evelyn." She said with a nod, combing her fingers through her hair flop. She sipped her drink again, and looked out over the crowd.
"You really shouldn't drink while high, you're gonna feel fucking terrible in the morning," Des noted, sipping their soda.
"I feel terrible all the time." She says with a shrug. "Besides. The cure for a hangover, is more alcohol." She nods and lays on her back, looking up at the ceiling, singing quietly to the newest song that was playing, her foot kicking.
"I don't think that's right, but go off I guess." Des muttered before going to look at something on their phone. "You want my number? You seem pretty interesting."
"Hm? Oh uh sure. I guess." She whips out her phone and quickly puts it in as you say the number, when someone yells her name and she gets up and bolts down the stairs. Call Me Maybe starts playing and her and 3 other girls start doing a dance. It was their song, their dance, as they sang and did it all in-sync. It was also obviously practiced.
Des took a photo after raising an eyebrow, they were going to sit outside for a bit. They saw a pretty tall tree that looked sturdy enough to support their weight.
The night went on, as she flirted with people, and enjoyed herself.
