Reo bites his lip, “Papa. . .” He murmurs.

Harold looks at him, “I love you. But if you’re not going to listen to me and your mother, then why even argue with us?”

Reo looks down, “Because I know you’re wrong and that somewhere, Lixian cares. . . He looked. . . So bad when I walked back in. . .” He bites his lip, “He actually said sorry. He’s never said sorry to me. . .” He pulls his knees to his chest, starting to cry, “But-But. . . No one listens to me. . . I’m just the weak little boy who. . . Who can’t say no and can’t seem to stay away from someone who I. . . I should stay away from. . .”

Harold looks at him, then sighs and hugs him. “You make it seem so easy to fall in love…especially with the wrong people…you never know if that boy is gonna try to use you…your mother and I are terrified something will happen…you’re not weak…you’re just…soft…”

(He’s trying so hard to comfort him- XD)

Reo chews on his lower lip still crying, “He w-won’t use me. . . I don’t-on’t think he will. . .”

Harold sighs, “If he does anything negative to you. Come straight home. Understand?”

Reo looks at him, biting his lip.

“Do you understand?”

“Papa. . .”

Harold narrows his eyes.

Reo fidgets, staying silent.

Harold sighs, then leans back in his seat.

Reo bites his lip, “Okay, Papa. . . I will. . .”

Harold nods, “Good.”

Reo sighs, “Lou you, papa. . .” He gets out of the car going back inside, looking around.

Lixian had scrambled off to his room, sobbing.

Reo follows, sitting next to him and gently pulling him into a hug, “Lixian. . . It’s okay. . .”

Lixian flinches, still sobbing.

Reo rubs his back, “I;m right here. . .”

Lixian whimpers, leaning into him.

Reo holds him close and tightly, nuzzling into his hair.

Lixian shudders, whining.

Reo keeps rubbing his back, humming softly.

Lixian hides his face in Reo’s shoulder, going silent.

Reo sighs softly, “It’s okay, Lix.”
