Reo frown, pulling his face away and looking at Lixian. Hurt shone on his face and he looks away, “I do. . .” He mumbles.

Lixian scoffs, “Yeah right.”

Reo huffs, pressing his face into Lixian’s chest, “Why else do you think I put up with you? That slap was hard enough to bruise someone without my condition.”

Lixian goes quiet for a moment, then grumbles, “As I said. You’re needy. You’re probably just desperate for a relationship.”

Reo huffed, “I could easily find someone who didn’t abuse me and use my love to his advantage.” He sighs, “Or, at least someone who would say sorry and love me back. . .” He whispers.

Lixian sighs, “Then do it. Not like I care.”

Reo grumbles softly, “You’d miss me too much and you know it. . .” He looks at Lixian, giving him a slightly smile. The side of his face was already bruised pretty badly, and it looked to still be getting worse.

Lixian doesn’t look at him, silent.

Reo sighs softly, snuggling close and hiding his face again, “Mmm. . . You’re warm. . .”

Lixian huffs, “Shut up.”

Reo grumbles, “It’s a complement. Take it and be happy. I will give you my happiness. . .”

Lixian rolls his eyes. “Please don’t.”

“Why not?! Being happy is amazing, and you’re too grumpy and sour.” He laughs softly, looking at him, resting his chin on Lixian’s chest.

Lixian grumbles. “It’s safer.” He whispers.

Reo blinks, confused, “Safer?” He murmurs softly, “What do you mean?”

Lixian shakes his head.

Reo sighs and lets the subject drop, nuzzling into him, “Snuggles. . .”

Lixian stays silent.

Reo looks at him

Lixian sighs and holds Reo close.

Reo closes his eyes.

Lixian stays quiet.

Reo takes a moment, "Lixian. . . Do you. . . Really like my cuddles?"

Lixian sighs. “What do you think?”

Reo looks away, "I don't really know. . . You call me a toy, and lie to me about so many things. . . I feel like you just do this so I'll forgive you. . ."
