“Kind of, not really..” Rose said softly, glancing down at his shoes. He just got worried and all. He didn’t want Leon to be skipping meals or anything.

"Okay then," He said and fell silent, continuing to walk.

“Was it on purpose?” Rose asked hesitantly, gripping Leon’s hand a bit tighter.

"Kind of," He said while looking away.

“Tell me about it?” Rose continued in a gentle tone.

"Well, I was scared that they were gonna come again and I wouldn't be able to do anything. That thought haunted me the whole night and I was too scared to really do anything this morning," He explained while looking away the whole time.

“Leon, I knew that you should have stayed with me..” Rose said, looking and sounding concerned.

"I'm sorry," Leon said apologetically.

“Don’t be sorry, it’s okay.. You should stay at my place tonight if you’re really that scared,” Rose said softly. He was scared for Leon. He didn’t want anything to happen to him, not after finding out that he was his soulmate.

"But it hasn't been two weeks yet, so they won't be coming right?"

“You can never be too careful. Leon, please?” Rose asked, looking up at him with worried eyes.

"Fine," Leon said. He couldn't ignore Rose's cute face and the fact that Rose was his soulmate.

Rose glanced away after that, his grip on Leon’s hand loosening a tad.

He squeezed Rose's hand now,"You okay?"

“I’m worried about you..” Rose mumbled softly, trailing a finger from his free hand over his lower lip piercings.

"It's fine, Rose. If I'm scared I'll be staying at your house for the night," He said gently.

Rose now bit at his lower lip softly. “Okay.. I just want you to be okay..”

"I will be okay," Leon said.

Rose reached up to hug Leon’s arm and nodded, running his hand up and down his forearm gently where he knew some of the scars were.

Leon blushed slightly and leaned his head on Rose's shoulder. (Should we say they finally arrived at the place?)

Rose let go of Leon’s arm to push open the door to a more casual looking restaurant.

Leon quickly thanked Rose and walked into the restaurant with him.

Rose smiled a bit and went inside. He spoke to a hostess for a moment, getting a table. Once they were sitting, Rose picked up the menu, glancing over the writing.

Leon picked up the menu once they were sitting and glanced over the writing which was half-murder for his dyslexic eyes.

“What do you think you are going to get?” Rose asked, glancing up at Leon.
