She turned to Ms. Potter with a little panic in her chest when she saw the other kids disappointment. She could tell he really didn't want to do it. "Oh no! That's fine! I can find my way around!" She says with wide eyes. "No darling! I insist. And yes Ender you can help"
CC turned to Ender, obviously feeling bad, though she just waved a little.
"Okay, Stephen and Ender, why don't you take her around" Ms. Potter says to the students
Ender smirked and hopped off their desk, slinging their bag over their shoulder. "Alrighty, come along nerds. We'll go to the library first." They announced and headed out the door, beckoning the others to follow them.
"O-oh…okay! I was hoping to find the library rather quickly anyway" she smiled politely at them as she walked out of the room with the two.
Her little Jack Skellington keychain swayed back and forth on her little bag that held her mini computer and all of her notebooks and writing utensils.
(So… since all that happened when I was asleep…)
Arthit had finally woken up from his morning nap. He looked up to see an unfamiliar face who had just walked out of the room.
A new student…? he yawned as he tried to think of who the new person might have been.
Since he’s practically a backbencher and already struggling enough with keeping his grades stable, he was not selected as a ‘guide’ for the new student so that’s great. He felt like the new student looked somewhat alike him though, perhaps she was from somewhere of similar origin? He didn’t know really, that was a complete guess. As much as he wants to introduce himself to the newcomer, perhaps he should do that at break time.
"Fun times." Ender hummed, pushing open the library doors. "Here we are, it's quite large and has lots of books and the likes. If you go out the staff door, there's a nice place to smoke. Lot's of drug dealers there."
(HAPPY BIRTHDAY)
As they walked down the hall, Seo Hyeon turned the corner and reached the library or what she assumed what the library. Big wooden double doors, shaded dark brown and a sign on it "library"
As she walked in she listened to Ender. "That's so sad! Oh i love libraries so much. I mean…ill still use it. I dont really do any of that." She says looking around the library with a small smile.
She planned on coming here to write and be alone. Not talk to drug dealers and smokers that would probably ruin her lungs!
Parker sighed when his offer was declined. He sat back in his seat and listened to the teacher intently. Even though he was scribbling on a piece of scrap paper.
Stephen mumbled something under his breath that was soft enough that one couldn't make out what he was saying, but loud enough that if one was standing close enough they could hear that he was saying something. He was saying, "I don't wanna be here," but it sounded more like, "Idowanbehe." And in truth, he didn't. He took school rather seriously, and preferred not to waste his time with "silly" things such as these.
(Eeeeeeep! Thank you~!)
Arthit was, honestly, not paying any attention towards the teacher whatsoever. After he got transferred here, he got a bit homesick so he wasn’t able to really get around to talking to his peers nor any of the teachers. The teachers don’t seem to care though so that’s one thing.
He got out his phone which was nearly dead then got out his charger. He plucked in the phone’s end before biting on the other end as he started charging the phone.
She looked and saw his expression. She already felt bad enough, but that did it. She figured this dude really didn't want to be here by his mumbling and his expressions.
"Hey, I'm really sorry about this. I tried to talk to.her so you wouldn't have to do this" she says sounding sincerely sorry about it.
She always hated making people feel anything that wasn't positive.
That was one of the main things she strived to.do in life. Make.people happy. But she didn't seems to be doing a very good job at it
Twirling his pen around, Arthit accidentally sent his pen flying. It eventually landed near Parker’s seat, the person who was seated diagonally from where he was. Hopefully, Parker heard the pen drop so he did not have to walk to the pen to get it. Another thing was that he was still gnawing on the charger’s end.
Stephen might've took school very seriously, but he did have a conscience. He felt bad for making CC feel guilty. Forcing a smile onto his face, he replied, "No, it's fine, really," his eyes softened. They didn't have the serious look they normally had anymore, and he hoped she wouldn't see through his words.
Parker felt something hit his foot and looked at the ground. He saw a pen and picked it up. He looked around for the person who would've be dropped it. He ruffled his brow still unsure who it belonged to.
She looked away for a second before her light eyes went back to his. "Are you sure? I dont want to he a burden…" She tucked a piece of white hair behind her ear.
"Yeah, I'm totally sure. Seriously, like I said before, it's fine," Stephen replied, swallowing.
"Well.um, we can just go back and say we did a quick tour if you would like. I can figure out how to get around" she smiled at him
Arthit lightly waved his hand in Parker’s direction.
That’s mine the male transfer student mouthed. He still had the charger’s end in his mouth… which was possibly quite the sight to see.
Parker saw motion from his peripheral vision. He turned to a familiar face and smiled brightly. He gently tossed it to him and nodded picking up his own pen and doodled.
Arthit caught the pen with one hand and said a soft ‘thanks’. He started pretending to take down notes when in reality, he was just writing nonsensical things down. It’s not surprising why he’s this way, the only thing he’s really thinking about right now is lunch and break time chess with someone.
Parker was getting bored, which he found strange. He normally enjoyed this class. But for some reason he just couldn't focus.
"Oh hell no. I'm taking this chance to skip class and not get a detention." Ender stated. They had been quietly running more of a check on this girl, coming across an old school record that they translated quickly.
(It's up to you what it says)
(Well she's murdered a few people before….though it could reveal that she has powers like the rest of you guys)
"Oh…okay" she says shyly with a little smile to match it.
"So where to next?" She asks them curiously. She had a little accent due to the fact that she just moved to America, and it was definitely noticeable. Not like a lot of Koreans where it sounded very unnatural for them when they spoke English.
She's been learning English for a fee years now and she's got most of it down. Though, she doesn't know any of the "slang" yet. So every now and then you can see her taking notes.
Ender raised an eyebrow at what they saw when running a deeper background search. Suspected murder? Jesus, what the hell is this girl doing in America? They thought, shaking the thoughts away and smirking. "Off to the good corners of the school to skip."
"Oh? Um, alright" she says innocently. Nothing about her would come close to anyone ever even thinking that she would possibly murder someone by her attitude. Her expressions and her smile. The way she held herself in general.
But you can't always judge a book by its cover.
"You want to eat lunch with me and some friends, nerd?" Ender hummed, taking a few pictures and thinking about how they were probably going to interrogate the girl later. "We're going up to the roof."
