There aren't many that live in Kinstos. It's small and quite the boring setting to most. It's a good place to get away from life. To disappear in some senses. The homes are old but in fair enough shape, a dusty gravel road winding towards them through the wheat fields. The quiet is disturbed by a newer seeming vehicle, only two inside it. And it turns into the driveway of a house that had just recently been sold.
ok yeah I'm not good with what I wanna convey when it's past midnight already. In short, this is a romance where a depressed country boy meets a girl from the city and both change each other over time.
Once the ball gets rolling, I have two ideas to where this can go.
- The girl gets depressed over time and feels like a fool for falling for the boy in the first place
- We go complete fluff route and happy times lol
RULES:
- Spelling and grammar is a big pet peeve of mine. Spelling errors happen and I get that, it's fine but if it's constant, I'm gonna think you didn't care enough to read the rules
- Give me a good length of a reply to work with! It's hard to reply to 1-2 liners!!!
- andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules obviously
- Please be respectful
- Slight profanity is allowed :D
- This will be a B x G because of how I want this to go. Not hating on other ship types.
(Hi! I'm interested in this)
(Yay! Any chance you'd like to play the girl?)
(Of course! I'm better at playing girls anyway-)
(Yay! Alright, you want a template or should we jump in?)
(A template, if that's alright)

Name: Wren Padilla
Gender: Male
Age: 18 (can change)
Appearance: Almond shaped brown eyes, and short, dark colored hair that is close to a jet black. It looks messy and a bit unkempt in small spots. He has a light farmer's tan on his olive colored skin, and stands about 5'9 in height.
Attire: A soft white tee with logo printed on the front, an army green jacket, worn down jeans that somehow don't have holes in them, and a cross necklace that used to be his mother's.
Personality: A bit distracted and tired. Wren is usually fairly mellow and won't bother shouting if he's angry or annoyed. He used to be quite relaxed and happy, though now he feels a constant weight in the back of his mind that makes him feel depressed
Fears: Blood, realizing that he is truly alone
Likes: Afternoon naps, willow trees, some of the townsfolk.
Dislikes: Being alone with his thoughts, being cold, the dark.
Other: His father had never been a part of his life and his mother died just last year. Now an orphan, he still lives in the same home, but is often checked in on by the other villagers. His favorite is a man he calls "Gramps" as he's like a grandpa he never had. He thought about self harm once, but never could do it because it wouldn't solve anything. Plus there was the probability of the injuries getting infected.
Name: Ekhatzhi Estrelya
Nickname: Chi, or Emma
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance: Chi is about 4'11 and has quite the petite, curvy body. Her hair is naturally a nice reddish-brown, but she dyed it white, with pale highlights of pink (so think of a rainbow trout but with bleached white skin). Her hair stops at about mid-neck. Her eyes are black, she has very pale skin, and has Asian features.
Attire: Usually wears hoodies or anything oversized for her shirt, skinny jeans or leggings, and combat boots. (Think grunge or modern Korean clothing aesthetic)
Personality: Chi has a very warm persona and tries to be nice to everyone. She's VeRy selfless (sometimes to the point where she doesn't care about her own health) And she just wants to be a positive influence. She's quite sensitive and emotional. And also highkey insecure-
Fears: Moths. Also thunder. Oh and also afraid of being alone and rejection!
Likes: Has an almost unhealthy obsession with Koi fish. Likes to go for long walks without a specific destination. Enjoys thinking about morals (like, would you steal bread to feed your family) and philosophy.
Dislikes: Loud noises, sudden movements. People who reject her even when she's being nice
Other: Can I reveal her backstory in the rp?
Sorry that took so long! Is she ok?
(No, it's okay! Sorry that it's been so long for me to reply!)
(And yes you can)
(Oh that's okay!)
(Awesome! So…should we start?)
(Yup! I'll have the starter done in just a moment!)
The light late summer breeze gently pushed the wheat fields into a gentle sway. Clouds, puffy and white meandered lazily across the powder blue sky. The area seemed quiet with the occasional splash of a fish in the large pond, chirp or buzz of an insect, or call of a bird, soaring high over the trees. Wren had been named after one of these birds and was currently lying lazily across the thicker branches of a tall willow tree. The long chains of leaves provided shade and comfort. His eyelids had grown heavy and the boy didn't find it difficult to let sleep take him. It was dreamless but heavy. A nice looking vehicle was barely seen in the distance by the other villagers. As it neared closer, the sound of gravel moving underneath the wheels became louder. It stirred up a bit of dust in the air, looking nearly like thin smoke. Yet Wren slept through this. He always felt so tired.
(Sorry! I'm in too many rp's and I kept on getting distracted)
Ekhatzhi was in the passenger's seat, not really paying to their surroundings. Besides, it was just a bunch of fields to her. She looked up and groaned. "We're almost there," her father reminded her. She nodded, not really caring. I just want to get out so my butt isn't numb! We've been driving for hours! She looked up ahead and saw the house and a willow tree. Right out in the middle of nowhere, I see. She sighed, making sure it was inaudible. Usually she'd be cheery about everything, but sitting in the car for over 6 hours straight would drive anyone insane.
(it's okay lol)
Hearing the noise, the residents of the small town poked their heads out the window or came outside to wave or say their greetings to the newcomers. It felt like a rarity for someone to move to the country. Especially from the city. A few younger kids had been outside playing hopscotch but stopped and stared at the car. After a moment, they returned to playing, asking if they thought another kid would be moving in to play with them.
Wren however only turned in his sleep, brows furrowed. He was unaware of the world and didn't have a reason to care.
Ekhatzi did her best to remain polite and wave and greet them back. When her and her father finally drove up to the house, Ekhatzi noticed the boy sleeping in the willow tree. She got out of the car and stretched before she slowly approached him. "Um, hello?" she spoke with a timid voice, unsure of how the boy would react.
(Whoops! Sorry, I updated it)
The boy jumped at the sound of a car door slamming. He groaned, rubbing his eyes before looking down to see a girl there. And a car a few feet away. Wren looked at the stranger curiously. Seeing a man who had been driving with a box in his arms, he assumed they were moving here. And… this was their tree now. The teen's shoulders slumped forward in disappointment, but still didn't move from his spot.
"'Um hello' to you too," he responded calmly.
"There are better places to sleep than up in a tree, you know." Chi grinned at him. She gently tugged on one of the nearby leaves, trying not to tear it off. "Do you live around here?" She asked, wondering why this rather pretty boy was sleeping in a tree rather than in a bed.
The boy shrugged. "It's comfortable enough to me," he replied simply. Wren didn't like having to explain himself to this stranger. Didn't she want to worry about her room and such first? The car seemed new as well. If they came from somewhere in a wealthier place, why move here? Wasn't this a major downgrade to her. He expected her to be a bit whiny to say the least.
