Tseth looks at Francis when he speaks. “I’d rather stand, thank you.” He looks down at Daphne as she stands next to him. “Are you alright?” Probably not, he thought. He doubts anyone here is really at ease, assuming they all had a similar experience. Minus the staff, who seem to act like this is the most normal thing in the world.

Daphne shakes her head and looks down, fidgeting. She speaks in a quiet voice, clearly not wanting to be overheard. “…No, not really. I doubt anyone would be okay if they just got sent to a random, creepy place with creepy people, though…”

One of the staff seems to overhear what Daphne said, and he glares at her. Daphne looks up at him and tenses slightly.

Tseth follows Daphne’s gaze to the staff member. He returns his glare and flares out his wings slightly in an intimidating gesture. “Yeah, I’m not thrilled about it either.” He doesn’t shift his gaze as he talks.

Blaze takes a step out of her room, alert.

The hall.

No other doors, no windows.

One end of the corridor was a dead end. A bust.

The other section of the hall led to a turn.

She could tell because the air seemed warmer in one direction than the other.

She goes that direction, walks a bit, then freezes.

She'd entered a much larger room, she thought.

There were 4 other people.

One asleep.

The rest awake.

Her uniform made her a very stark image against the white walls.

"Greetings." she says calmly.

(Is there like a reverse for the nightmare juice, or like how long does it last..? Can the other characters just shake him awake or is he just gone for like an hour-)

The staff member looks at Tseth, then rolls his eyes and looks around at the others.

Daphne looks up at Tseth, edges a little closer to him, then looks at Blaze when she enters. “Oh- hello.” Why is everyone here so… scary? Other than the little kid, obviously… and Tseth… She looks a little lost in her thoughts.

Blaze tilts her head at the girl who'd spoken, turning in her direction.

She smiles a little before her face returns to normal.

"Captain Blaze Arkini of the Republic's Revolution branch. A pleasure." she says politely. She then points at where Salmook roughly is.

"What happened to him?" she inquires.

Tseth turns to look at Blaze. Interesting. “King Tsethlekai Stryker of the Dark Dragons. Good to meet you.” He seemed calm, but he wasn’t thrilled about the growing amount of people. And the newest one, Blaze, looked as if she might turn out to be a threat if pushed.

Blaze drops her hand back to her side and fixes Tseth with a calm, focused, pale-eyed look.

"King?" she repeats. "I don't recognise your name or nation, meaning you're not a human from my world. Or even a human at all. Who here can vouch for you?"

Daphne glances at Salmook. “No idea…” She looks slightly intimidated by Blaze.

The woman who had taken Salmook into the room earlier clears her throat. “He was being stubborn, so I had to calm him down.” She glances at the tranq pen still in her hand.

Tseth looks at Blaze with a slight tilt of his head. “Vouch for me?” He glances at Daphne. He didn’t want to put her on the spot, but she was the only one he knew. And even then that might be a problem, she was a queen herself. His thoughts are interrupted by the woman talking. He glances at the tranq in her hand, before looking at her again. “You needed a tranquilizer to handle a child?”

@the-void-phantasmic language

The woman raises her eyebrows at Tseth. “To be fair, he probably had rabies. He was acting absolutely feral.” She speaks with a hint of disgust in her voice.

Daphne narrows her eyes and mumbles, “Or maybe you’re just ashamed to admit you can’t handle a child-“

The woman glares daggers at Daphne, gripping the pen harder. “What did you say?
