Tia covered her mouth with her non-disappearing hand, still too shocked to say anything.

Ferran took a few steps forward. "Oh my gosh…"
"You saw that… right?" Tia dropped her hand and whispered.
"Yeah…" He reached out and tried to touch Silene's shoulder. It went straight through. "Uh…."
Silene gasped. "What?" She turned to face Ferran, her face twisted with fear.
The color drained from his face. "Did you feel that?"
Tia stood up and walked briskly over to Ferran. She placed a hand on his shoulder. It stayed; he was solid. "We can't touch anybody, except ourselves."
He swallowed and nodded. "Okay but why? Why is this happening?"
Silene reached to touch Ferran's hand. It just glided through, as if it were a hologram. "No."
She could feel the panic rising in the room. "Nothing."
(sigh)
"I don't know," Tia whispered. She closed her eyes and slumped her shoulders. She'd never looked or felt so defeated.
Ferran felt like screaming. "Try again."
(me?)
(yep)
Silene gulped, she waved another hand through Ferran's. "I-I don't know what's happening."
She tried to control her emotions but she was panicking. "I'm sorry." She gripped her sleeve nervously.
He shook his head. "Can you see me?"
"Yes." Silene nodded. "Yeah, I can see you."
Tia tried not to have a breakdown, but she was shaking badly. Her shoulders quivered, and her legs wobbled.
"Alanna, try and touch me."
Silene breathed in deeply, she had to remain calm, for the sake of the group. The amount of panic in the room was getting to be too much.
I need to help them. Her conscience spoke. "If you'll excuse me." She stood up, walking slowly towards the door.
“I’m a little scared to.”

"Just stop!" Tia yelled. "It won't work, Ferran! It won't…" She pressed the heels of her palms to her forehead. She was breaking.
He couldn't keep it in. Tears spilled down his cheeks. "Why is this happening?" He asked, not expecting an answer.
“Wait do people remember Silene?”
