(i'm online and new so haven't stepped into the story yet :) )
(what kind of time do you guys normally prefer to come online ?)
(For me it's just random.)
(anyone want to continue this ?)
(me)
(I do)
(i definately do if everyone else agrees)
(Whatever, I'll start up for no reason even though I'm not with you people yet)
Standing at the foot of a oak tree, Xavier took a towel out of his back pack and began drying himself. Everything felt so hot, like he would just melt into the ground, but yet again everything felt hot, even when he was out in the arctic.
(lol i love how your character is still by the lake)
(so are we going to do preparation for the ball and roles? or jump to the ball?)
(I vote jump to the ball)
(same)
Marina leaned against the wall while observing the many unmated werewolves around her. There were many attempting to flirt with each other and some that seemed … past the flirting stage. A few guys attempted to talk to me but I simply glared until they decided I wasn't worth the trouble. "Ugh, I really wish I could leave," I muttered as my gaze landed on the alpha. That idiot was the reason i couldn't get out of this, not only was it our pack's ball but as a warrior we had to protect the alpha. Not that he needed it from his skill level, plus he was surrounded by too many drooling girls to have any potential danger to approach.
Ari snuck into the ballroom, careful to make sure the guards didn't see him.
Marina sighed heavily and began to make her way over to grab a bottle of water when she caught sight a small golden head peaking out behind one of the heavy draped curtains. I'm glad he came, i finally found someone who's better company then my own shadow. A smile played on my lips as i grabbed a bottle of water off the table along with a handful of chocolates before making my way towards the curtain.
Keaton hung out in the corner of the area. He didn’t really want to be part of the festivities. He had to be there not only because he didn’t have a mate, but he was a warrior. He walked over and grabbed some food then went back to where he was.
Raven was wearing normal clothes and in the ballroom, ordering people around to touch up the place.
I leaned against the wall beside the curtain with a small smile. "Sneaking into the 'grand' mating ball? Someone's getting more rebellious it seems." I said not looking at Ari directly, instead I looked out one of the windows.
Ari let out a squeak as he was caught, but his breath returned as he realized it was Marina. She had always been kind to him. "I had a bad dream and- and I saw- too much." Tears filled his eyes again and his small body started to shake. "I didn't want to stay alone in the dark."
I gently pulled the shaking boy out from his hiding place and hugged him tightly. "Shh, it's going to be okay now, i promise." I pulled back to wipe away his tears. "Come on, let's go upstairs. No one will stop you since you're with me and then you won't have to be alone." I get what it's like to have nightmares and what Ari was going through. There was no way I was going to leave him here alone.
Ari clung to the warrior tightly, trying to be as small as possible in the crowd. "Thank you." He whispered.
Marina held the little boy's hand gently and led him towards the stairs, keeping him close to her and sending glares to anyone sending us questioning glares. People quickly turned their curious gazes away. Smiling, she spoke to Ari, "Here," she held out the chocolates in her hand, "chocolates always make the sadness and scariness go away."
(Anyone else still wanting to carry this on or is this forever dead?)
(I want to carry this on)
//I want it to continue
