Wennora, the home for some of the world’s most prestigious magic users. Beings from all over the world crossed land and sea, just to attend this school. Known for its diverse teaching methods and all encompassing magical capacity, this is the place for success. And at a time like this, the future seemed bright and brilliant. People were all over the hidden grounds of Wennora University. Freshmen and returning students alike traversed the expanse of freshly cut grass and white-washed cobblestones, some gathering schedules and others reuniting with friends. The sun set on summer break, but ushered in the dawn of a new and exciting chapter. The feeling filled the air, touching everyone with an infectious feeling of change.
That feeling filled Peony with a sense of eagerness and dread. She looked out at the campus from her dorm window, watching as the sun rose from behind dozens of grey and white stone buildings. Being a Third Year meant she finally got a new dorm, a 3 bedroom with a kitchenette, living room, and two bathrooms. And from her room, she had the most beautiful view. She watched as people milled about, players practiced on the bloodraid field, tents and tables for groups and clubs were set up all over in the courtyard. She was supposed to be out there. After all, as the vice president of Wennora University, she had certain social obligations. People to meet, students to entice…. But she wanted to take a moment to step away. To be separate from all the hustle and bustle… and just watch.
She stood there for a few more minutes, her golden eyes taking in the sights below as if it were the first time. And then, she grabbed her lanyard, set her wide brim hat on her head and set out for the courtyard. That's where most of the students would be. Amongst the magical food carts and greeting committees.
(For starters, introduce your characters and they can all mingle in the courtyard. If any of you guys want to room together, talk about it. You can set up a class list for your student(s) and any extracurriculars or clubs that you want them to be a part of.)
Jonah took a breath. He looked up at his mirror, twirled his fingers through his blonde locks a little. He didn’t smile. He doesn’t smile. Jonah fixed his shirt, a dry-fit black shirt, and sweatpants. Typically he’d dress more formally, but for some reason, he just didn’t feel like doing it today. Jonah walked to the door of his dormitory, and looked around. Two beds, one without sheets, and the other made. He didn’t know who he’d be rooming with, they hadn’t arrived yet. He opened the door, and walked down the stairs, and out the front door of the dorm building, into the courtyard full of people.
Connor sat up, and stretched. He let out a loud yawn. He smacked his lips, and then got up. He was dressed in light blue oversized pajamas. Connor walked barefoot into the bathroom, and then looked himself in the mirror. “Another day with a demon in you. You’ll be fine. Or not. You might die. Or you’ll kill some people. But it’ll be fun, won’t it?” (Connor loves to talk to himself.) He smiled. He got dressed, brushed his hair, and put shoes on. He was wearing an oversized t-shirt that said, “Tenebrae Vincunt”, and skinny jeans. He went out the door, looking back at the room for a second. “Wonder who I’m rooming with…” He closed the door, and walked down the stairs. “Feel sorry for them.”
(I’m so down for either of my characters to room with anyone else. Just hit me up ^^)
The sun flitted through the white curtains of the dorm room and onto the walls, creating a soft golden atmosphere around Cassius as he sat up in his bed.
Had he slept? No. Did he want to?
Well thats a difficult question thats best to be avoided.
He runs his hands through his blonde, tangled hair with a heavy sigh, his breath cold against his skin.
The sun reflecting off of Cass’s golden orange eyes, his snake-like iris’ shrinking an odd amount before he decides to look away. The heat from the sunlight through the window felt nice on his cold skin. Comforting even. As if someone were giving him a soft hug.
Im awfully touch deprived he thought to himself as his hands went to the sides of his arms, feeling his own cold hands and hating his own touch. It wasn’t comforting to him at all. It only made him think of his past. The oh so many years he’s lived alone.
Though that had been his own fault, as every year he’d made sure he had the one person dorm.
But this year was different. Cass had finally decided to take the risk of getting attached to someone.
Yep. Hes got a roommate.
but who is it? They haven’t gotten here quite yet. I wonder if anything happened to them. Oh i hope theyre doing alright. he found himself getting a bit worried already for a person he didnt know.

Beads of sweat dripped from her neck and down underneath Jesse’s sports bra as she dropped the unnecessarily large barbell to the mat, multiple stacks of weights on either side.
She had gotten up around 5 in the morning and started her routine in the campus gym, not missing a single rep.
Her hands go down to the strap around her waist, removing the clasp, letting it fall to the mat below her before she removed the green makeshift headband from her hair, letting the bandana drop down to the floor as well.
Her big hands rake through her hair, slicking it back to reveal more of her face.
Specifically places freckles dotted her face as well as scars of all sorts. She wipes her forehead and looks around for anyone else, her thick brows naturally creased into a rather angry furrow, creating the perfect glare she wore throughout her days.
Jesse scoffs,
im already done with everyone and I haven’t seen a single person. What a joke
She thought to herself, grimacing at the thought of having a roommate. She didnt care to see who it was. Nor did she care to think about it.
So why did she?
Was she nervous? Oh hell no. Jesse? Nervous? Not in a million years.
But still she felt the same way about having a roommate every year.
whos going to screw up my year this time?
( @Write_where_i_dont_wanna_be can Jonah room with Cassius)
(Sure lol)
( @Write_where_i_dont_wanna_be Jesse can room with Peony, if you'd like)
(Okay! ^^)
Basil sighed and rubbed his eyes, looking down at his half drunk thermos of coffee before contemplating existence and downing the entire thing. It had some extra herbs mixed in that would hopefully give him enough energy not to melt into a puddle of cold water on the ground the second someone talked to him. Was it drugs? Probably. He wouldn't put it past his mother to give him drugs. He had barely managed to escape his mother, The Winter Queen, as it was, so he really didn't want to go ask her if she had drugged his coffee.
He took one step into the sunlight of the courtyard and almost hissed at the brightness and the warmth. Basil wasn't used to heat alright, he lived in the fucking Winter Court, there was barely any sunlight as it was.
If anyone was to look at him, they'd see someone dressed in way too much clothes with frost on it, shielding his eyes from the sun and trying to figure out the closest thing that had iron in it.
("Was it drugs? Probably" that's great XD)
(Bump)
(I was waiting on someone else to post but I can if you'd like?)
(Same. But go ahead, I'll post as well)
(Hey guys! I have returned, just give me a few minutes to type an intro post)
(Okay, update. I'll have a post up in about an hour, hour and a half!)
(Okay)
Trinity half-skipped, half-ran through the halls of her dorm building. My second first day, she thought with a beaming smile. She thought back to her first first day, when she knew no one, not even her roommate. Even though she didn't know her roommate for this school year, it made her more comfortable that she knew a few people around campus. Hopefully she could make friends, even after what happened last school year. The thought made her shiver, but she quickly focused again on the here and now. She was almost at her dorm room. She couldn't wait to meet her roommate!
(I'll leave Cassius for a second until Jonas comes in the dorm if that's alright)
Jesse steps through the tiled doorway of the gym bathrooms, setting down her bandana and waterbottle that most likely had vodka in it. Did she let anyone know that? Never.
She slips off her clothes and turns the shower on the coldest setting, stepping inside and letting the coldness of the droplets surprise her a little, making her jump and shiver a little.
She huffs, looking around to make sure no one else saw before letting the water soak her hair and drizzle down her tan skin.
Soon she turns the water to the hottest setting and let's the mirrors fog up before turning it off and grabbing a towel, wiping her face with it, her face covered. Which she hated doing so just in case someone else was in there and she didn't know. But there was nothing really to be done about it.
(Someone can run into Jesse I don't care lol)
