"I don't know. I've never really tried. I couldn't ever see them in the city." She remarks, shrugging.
"I don't know. I've never really tried. I couldn't ever see them in the city." She remarks, shrugging.
"You could try tonight," Havenwood suggested.
"I don't know how, either. How am I supposed to harness the stars?" Elise looked up at him in confusion.
"I dunno. Maybe you could ask Athena?"
"Athena knows a lot of things, but I don't know if even she would know this."
"She's like a walking Google. You never know."
"Google, huh." Elise laughed. "It's probably around seven or eight right now."
"Go on, then." Havenwood smiled at her.
"Okay, okay." Elise rolled out of bed and out the door, stepping into the darkened outside world. It was very dark for this early, so she didn't want to risk finding Athena - who sat on the edge of a cliff. So, she kept walking until she found a little clearing where she could look up at the stars.
A little twinkle caught the corner of her eye and she looked up to see a little star, twinkling brighter at little intervals. She smiled. "Hello, pretty star."
The star flared like stars are not supposed to flare - it lit up the sky for a brief second, then dulled again. Elise was stunned.
"Woah, okay. You're really bright. I like you."
The star did the impossible - it twitched a little, then fell out of its place in the sky, becoming a bright shooting star with an unnaturally green tint, like Elise's eyes.
"Huh." She smiled and sat.
Havenwood sighed and rolled over on a shoulder. "I can't believe she thinks she's the reincarnate. If she is… damn…"
Havenwood…come on out. I want to show you something. Elise scrambled into a tree and addressed each star individually. "Mkay, so you're gonna do a thing for Havenwood, okay? Can you do that?" The stars flashed eagerly.
Havenwood groaned gently at the thought of moving. Why? I'm aching all over.
At least look out the window, then.
Havenwood rose with a stiffened groan and looked out the window. Alright?
Mkay. A star flashed, then another, all in a circle. Then they all shoot off into shooting stars in turn, and more stars take their place, a new shape this time - a star. See that?
Yeah. Cool! How'd you do that?
I just told them to. Elise giggled and looks up at the stars. "Good job, ya'll."
Havenwood sighed and leaned off of the window frame. I suppose you're coming back, now?
I am now, yeah. Elise climbs down and walks back to the house. She opens the door and grins at Havenwood, jumping back onto the bed. "Well?"
Havenwood turned to face her. "Pretty cool." He nodded.
(1,045 now wow)
"So I guess I am the reincarnate. Wow. Should we tell anyone?" She asks.
(Yee)
"No, why would we?" Havenwood looked at her.
"I don't know." Marlene shrugs. "I just thought it might be important. Zeus would probably send me to the warfront, though."
(Marlene?)
