(I am here. Sorry about that, I was asleep.)
(It's cool!)
(Hey, I'm here! Sorry I was gone.)
(Is there anyone else we're waiting for?)
(Dunno.)
(Wait, we’re missing Destiny!)
(Crap. I’ll go get her…)
(She can post after you… If we delay this any longer it might die…)
(Don’t worry, I know where to find her. I’m getting her right now, it might take a minute or two though, I’m going on discord but on the PC which is slowler then a sloth.)
(Oh shit why it’s updating.)
(I haven’t been on my piece of shit computer for months… oh god it’s probably going to be a while…)
Oof… It'll be OK!
By herself in the corner of the room, Crystal sat alone morning the death of her son. She quietly cried to herself in the room she is now going to share with a newbie. She payed no attention to anyone around her, all she did was sit there resisting the urge to cut herself.
Ale whimpered as he was dragged past a cell where someone had offed themselves. A young man, maybe his age.
Two men in custodian jumpsuits dragged his corpse out ny hand. Not even so much as a stretcher. His whimpering intensified.
"Shut the Hell up, you…" One of the guards said, a big man with a receding hairline.
"Be eady on him… He's new here…" Said the other.
"He'll have to toughen up right quick yeah?" The big guard responded. Ale felt like he was going to vomit, it was all too much.
"Into the cell." They said, throwing him in with a crying woman.
Crystals head jolted over when she heard someone enter. She turned her body around and she stopped crying. Already…? I thought I had way more time then that… She crawled over to his side and poked him. “Hey are you alright…?” She forced the words out of her mouth.
Ale flinched as she did so, examining the cell… Aside from the small, squat metal toilet, two flat cots (with small blankets) and two small nightstands, it seemed kinda empty.
"More or less." He lied, eyes misty still…
Crystal sighed with relief. She got up and went to her cot covering her face with the blanket. She continued to cry, but even quieter, being close to silence.
"Hello!", Laura said to the new guy in the cell across from her. Poor guy… I remember when I was new here too.
"H-Hey…" Ale replied, smiling, as he ran a hand through his hair. He un-crumpled himself, and stood.
Crystal took the blanket off of her head. She stopped crying once again and got off the cott and returned to her corner. She looked at this mysterious man again. Man, whats new? They always bring in newbies and they seem to be less insane as they come… they’re going to fry this man… I feel bad… She quickly looked back. “Hi… I’m… Crystal…”
Ugh, what am I saying? I should have just stayed silent…
Ale turned to her slowly approaching his cot. He sat on it, staring across the cell at her with curiosity.
"Ale!" He said. "Last name is Garrison!"
"Nice to meet you Ale! I'm Laura!", she said, happy to talk to someone.
Crystal smiled. At least Laura is having fun… Crystal his her face from Ale, trying not to show how soft and pushy she is, thinking about how anyone could take advantage of it…
"What's up Crystal?", she added.
