Amelia couldn’t help laughing. What was her luck that she would find another pirate and not even know it? She then decided to drop her facade, no longer seeming like the worried businesswoman, but the highly independent and ferocious pirate that she was.
“No. But, it intrigues me that I managed to find the nicest man around that shares my trade. Oh, and my ‘business partners’ are mild,”she snorted, leaning against the wall next to the door, prepared to shut it if need be.
Keigo smiled a sharp smile. From this angle, you could see his sharper k-9s. “ so you're a pirate too?” he asked “ you seem quite happy at our shared trade.”
(Oh sorry, technically I’d be asleep right now, but apparently not today, chuckling)
Amelia snorted.
“It’s all I’ve ever known. And, by the way, I actually am in a bit of a hurry. There’s a crate I snatched that has more heat on it than I expected. I’m trying to get rid of it quickly. I’ve already got a fence in place, so I need to visit them pretty quick before I risk getting caught,”she explained.
Keigo flinched “ you need to be careful. If you ever get in a bad situation, call the ship.” he handed her a piece of paper with a code on it “ the delta has jump tech so we could get there quickly. “
Amelia took the paper and stashed it in a pocket.
“Thank you. And, I’m deliberately hard to contact, but I go by Emma Ice-Catcher, with or without the ‘Captain’ part. Also, if you ever meet the Tricky Skippers gang, they’re my partners,”she mentioned.
She heard a soft buzz from the small box hidden underneath the ship and nodded to herself.
“I best get going. And your crew is probably waiting for you.”
“ yeah.” as he was walking away, hid band flashed yellow. He looked over his shoulder at amelia and disappeared in the crowd.
Amelia watched him leave, then locked up her ship and grabbed the small box. She followed the directions shown on the screen, meeting with the fence. After a while, she had a buyer for the crate of jewels.
When the crate was out of her hands, Amelia returned to her ship and watched her surroundings for a while, curious if Keigo was still around. If not, she would leave the dock on her long journey of laying low.
Keigo could be spotted clearly. His bloche skin and white hair are visible anywhere. He was with his medic and something was wrong, though it seemed Keigo was recovering from something.
“Must be those seizures he mentioned,”Amelia mumbled to herself.
She continued to watch, despite the nagging thought that she should just leave already. For some strange reason she couldn’t yet fathom, Amelia was fascinated by Keigo.
Keigo finally stood from his seize. The medic seemed over-worried, though he held up his hand and walked back into his ship. He was holding his head.
Keigo was met happily by his bird, toaci. It chirped At him furiously l, he scratched toacis head and smiled “ I'm fine bud” he mumbled
“He has a bird?”Amelia blurted, momentarily stunned.
She continued to watch, but her fingers flexed occasionally, an unconscious effort to quell her restlessness and indecision. Did she want to talk to Keigo some more, or leave? She couldn’t decide.
Keigo smiled as his bird nudged his forehead. He continued to hang around his crew until night when they would leave under the stars.
Amelia watched Keigo that entire day, so torn between the two decisions that she didn’t move at all. She couldn’t deny that she liked him. He was sweet, and rather handsome too.
As night fell, Amelia sat up, trying her best to focus on leaving. However, even as she organized her supplies, she kept glancing out to look for Keigo. What was with her? How many times had she felt this way, only to be betrayed? She had lost count.
Keigo was getting ready to leave, putting on his deep blue tailcoat and hat. He had a constant smile, laughing with his men as they got ready to depart.
Amelia sat back down, admiring Keigo. She wanted badly to talk to him, but she knew it would go wrong. She didn’t have the heart to face another betrayal.
She prepared to leave, fighting her emotions the entire time. As Amelia sat in the pilot’s seat, she decided to wait until Keigo left before leaving herself. Maybe that would soothe her.
Keigo's ship undocked and they withdrew from the docks. He stood in the middle of his pilot's room. Each member doing their job. Keigo kept multiple holograms up, moderating his ship “ engines one and two down until we leave the atmosphere.” he said to a team member
Unfortunately, watching Keigo leave didn’t soothe her. However, she pushed through it and undocked as well, leaving. She fought back tears as her ship vanished into the dark sky above.
(I was thinking that they don’t see each other for a long while, not sure how long, then bump into each other again. I don’t know, kind of indecisive right now)
( okay) as they left Keigo felt a nagging in his heart, going to his dorm he kept a screen up from the ship's contact. He was waiting for Emma. “ where are you..” he mumbled to himself.

Amelia wiped away the tears on her face as the stars of outerspace swallowed her view. She laughed sadly at the sight before her and wondered if she’d ever meet Keigo again. She then remembered the paper he had given her, but fought against the temptation to contact him. It would only hurt her more.
( we could time skip till she need help or got the courage ) Keigo fell asleep while he was waiting for her to contact him, a peaceful image. Toaci was perched on his shoulder, leaning on his face.
(Hmm… maybe some months pass and she finally re-emerges from hiding?)
Several months later-
Amelia docked for the first time in a long while. Despite the loneliness, she was glad she had vanished. The authorities had indeed been searching for those jewels, and had traced her down to the dock where she Keigo.
She landed and sighed. She hadn’t contacted Keigo at all since they had met. She had stopped counting how many nights she had cried herself to sleep for it. She didn’t know why she avoided him, and yet, she knew exactly why.
Amelia sighed again and left, tapping her hull again. She hadn’t neglected her calling, but she had avoided looting anything other than low-risk ships. Gazing around, she headed off to roam, wanting to get some fresh supplies and just to move in a place other than her small ship.
It just so happen that a couple of days earlier, Keigo docked. As quick as he’d come before the white-haired man ran into Amelia. “ Get your ass back here! “ he was chasing a man down who had stolen something. Keigo's eyes focus when he looked back on who he had accidentally hit. “ Emma!?” he thought but had no time to check. He kept up his pursuit after the man, pulling his pistol and firing off a few shots.
