This idea is partially inspired by the series Once Upon A Time.

A group of fairytale characters woke up in a small and out-of-the-way town called Midwall in Rhode Island. Everybody remembers who they are, but they also remember a life living in Midwall, and have no idea how they got there. Nobody can leave the town and nobody can enter the town either. Finally a few fairtale characters muster the courage to see if they can figure out what happened and to see if they can find a way back to their homes.
