"I'm joining you then," Zanna told him, "I need to do a better job on my leg and work a bit on my arm."
"I'm joining you then," Zanna told him, "I need to do a better job on my leg and work a bit on my arm."
"Alex can we trust this girl? Where did you even find her?" Nonie said chasing after Alex
Alex groans, "Distress signal. She's against the Galra. And yes, Zanna. You may join me. You can too, Nonie." He honestly wanted to be alone, but whatever.
"Yep," Zanna sighed.
He runs a hand through his hair, his good eye trained on the directions to the garage.
Zanna shrugged and followed after Alex to the garage.
Nonie followed into the garage and sat at a bench. She started tinkering with a small device.
Once at the garage Zanna removed her leg again and found a pair of goggles so she could better see the wirings inside the prosthetics.
Alex hums as he works. He needed to get his mind off memories.
Zanna finished off her leg. She reattached it and tested it out. Good as new. She then began to work on her arm. The only problem was, she now down an arm.
Alex looks at the arm carefully, appearing at her side, "tighten there, there and there, loosen it up a bit right there, and there's a wire out of place there." he says, pointing to each spot.
Zanna huffed in frustration part way through, "This is so difficult with only one arm!"
He chuckles, "I'll help."
"Thanks," Zanna sighed she continued looking at the arm.
Alex pulls out a few tools and sets to work.
Zanna sighed, "Stupid Galra."
Alex hums in agreement, his mind going to the scar in his side. "Yeah. They can get pretty nasty."
Zanna laughed a little, "Nasty is too dull of a word for them."
He snickers, "You know it." he inspects a worn out looking piece. "I got a few replacements if ya want."
"That would be great," Zanna responded gratefully, "I had to make these on the fly. So I know they aren't the best."
He nods, grabbing the essentials from the drawers and setting to work again.
Zanna looked at Alex, "Any reason your against the Galra?"
"Killed my planet… the one you're standing on actually." He said this as if it were nothing. But in truth it brought a fair amount of pain.
"Oh," Zanna whispered, "I would say I'm sorry, but that wouldn't sum it up."
Alex was silent for a moment. "It doesn't matter. That was years ago." he says stiffly.
