Meanwhile, inside at the party, Elowyn was somewhat bored. Yes, there was plenty of food and drinks, as well as people to talk to, but she had seen it all before. She leaned against the wall with a sigh. Where were her friends when she needed them?
(i’m changing the spelling of her name bc i like this one better lol)
Malice sighed, parties weren’t his style at all. They were too chaotic for him, he quietly ate some chips he had found earlier at the several food filled tables. There were a lot of people here, he couldn’t see Timothy anywhere though. Hes probably outside. I’ll join him in a bit…
Cassie was off dancing in a large crowd with a bunch of other people. The party was great and it seemed like everyone was having a lot of fun. She noticed Elowyn off to the side, stopped dancing and ran over to her, a bright smile on her face, “Hey Elowyn, you look really bored, are you okay?”
Elowyn’s face lit up instantly upon seeing Cassie. “A bit, but also kind of lonely,” she admitted, brushing a lock of brown hair behind her ear. “I was actually wondering where you had gone, but didn’t really want to hunt you down.” She didn’t like crowds, but she could bear them if she was with her friends.
Cassie smiled in return, “I’ll hang out with you now, I’m done dancing. It’s getting a bit tiring.” She laughed.
Elowyn laughed too. “How you handle being out there, with everyone being all sweaty and gross?” she asked, a teasing lilt to her voice.
Cassie shrugged, “I dunno, I think it’s fun though!” She replied swinging her hips to show off her dancing, “Aren’t I super good at it?!” Cassie was infact not a good dancer, but she didn’t care, she still enjoyed it nonetheless.
Elowyn giggled. “Super good,” she repeated with a teasing smile. She knew that Cassie’s dancing wasn’t great, but neither was her own. She felt like a train wreck every time she danced, another reason to avoid the dance floor and center of the party.
Cassie giggled back and spun in a full circle before stopping, "Sooooo, what should we do?" She asked.
“I dunno, what is there to do besides dance or eat?” Elowyn asked, studying the party guests as they flitted to and fro. She raised an eyebrow.
Cassie frowned, "Nothing, I guess. Gosh I didn't realize how little there was to do here…" She said after looking around.
“Well, that’s boring,” Elowyn sighed, scrunching her nose in thought. “What if we just left and did something else? Or even just going outside and taking a breath of fresh air might nice…”
“Oooh! Yeah that sounds great! Let’s go have some fun!” Cassie cheered, throwing her arms up in excitement.
Malice had finally finished his chips, he threw the bowl away in a overflowing trash can and headed outside where he saw Timothy. “Hey Timothy, bored?” He asked.
Elowyn brightened more, tossing her hair behind her shoulders. “I am so ready to get out of here!” she added with a smile. “Let’s go!”
Malice sighed, parties weren’t his style at all. They were too chaotic for him, he quietly ate some chips he had found earlier at the several food filled tables. There were a lot of people here, he couldn’t see Timothy anywhere though. Hes probably outside. I’ll join him in a bit…
Timothy slowly made his way back inside, shuffling back to the food tables where he spotted an old friend of his. Malice, he smiled slightly, “Old friend” he says warmly.
Elowyn glanced behind her as they were leaving, noticing two boys standing together. She turned back quickly, hoping her friend hadn’t seen. One of the boys was really cute.
