(Lucas needs to meet up with these guys he's a werewolf too)
(Soon, but I don't think it'd work in this scene.)
(Nope… Just that general idea…)
(Right, I'll be thinking about it. I have to go soon, and I don't think I'll be back until tomorrow. We can finish up this scene if you'd like, if you don't want to be stuck here until tomorrow.)
(Can the wolves start clearing out? "The fun's over," and that sort of thing?)
(Sure? Do you have an idea?)
Evelyn looks around at her pack. They all start heading back into the forest behind her. The eldest wolf took longer but soon turned tail and trotted after them. Evelyn turns to Corvin
"Um, I guess this is 'bye for now?'" Corvin knows she can't understand him, and he almost wishes he could flip a switch, or say some words, and boom, she would understand every word he says.
Evelyn nods, crouching down again and starting to back up on all fours.
(What if there was a second full moon this month that catches our wolf children off guard? I know that kind of thing can happen)
[Also, we wouldn't have to be that kind of werewolf. Some myths say that some werewolves transform at night, or they have some trigger (besides the moon). I don't know; more research is definitely needed if we'd like to go into more detail or change things.]
Corvin raises his eyebrows in surprise, but is glad Evelyn understood him. He bites his inner lower lip again and nods, smiling at her. Then, he turns and goes home head full of ideas, questions, and unfortunately, more lies for his parents.
(Yeah so Evelyn transforms every night… I forgot to add that. But she learned how to control herself and every full moon she turns to a complete wolf… Sorry for not mentioning it before)
[Ok, that works. I'm making it so Corvin turns into a werewolf on the night of the full moon, and sometimes on the surrounding nights. He might be able to control it later on, we'll see.
Now that Evelyn is free (yay!) I've got to go. Talk to you later.]
(Idk I guess Lucas transforms at random times surrounding the full moon too. He has no idea when this will happen, as it's spontaneous, and it doesn't always happen)
(Ok bye! And that sounds cool @Robin_Jones )
"The medicine doesn't seem to be working," Shedera told her mom, " We might have to move where they take better care of Vampires, " her mom said, "I… I like it here……." She said back to her mom, "Honey we want you to be healthy though. If you don't want to drink the blood you need meds."
((@LeafyLemur Sorry it took me so long to get on! Yes, I'll respond to that rn XD))
Lance shrugged a little, "I don't know… I-I haven't talked to anyone like this in such a l-long time, w-what do people talk about n-normally?" She stared down at her lap for a second before mumbling, "I do want to tell you I think you're cute." She casually took a drink of the blood before she realised what she said. Her eyes widened as she asked, "I j-just said t-that out loud, d-didn't I…"
((Sidenote: I can take out the last part of my post if you want, I just got the feeling that Lance would be crushing a little bit lol, but if you don't want your character to be forced into that, I'll take it out np.))
((Just moving this so it can be found easier, and isn't completely buried lol))
Thankfully Corvin doesn't get a chance to lie; both his parents are gone for the day, both at their jobs, blissfully unaware of the change in their son.
He grabs a snack from the fridge and snarfs it down as he sits down at his dad's office desk. He finishes his needed snack and then types into the search engine on his dad's computer, 'How to talk to someone who doesn't speak your language.'
Evelyn races on her two feet through the woods, her eyes trained on the first rabbit they have seen in months
(I'll just… um… throw myself in here…)
Lucas was walking through the forest when he suddenly felt… strange. He fell over, feeling himself begin to transform. What?! How could I be transforming?! It's not even night, or the full moon! He transformed into a full, if small, werewolf and howled. His pupils narrowed as he glanced about the trees.
Evelyn's entire pack skid to a stop, their ears perked at a howl. Evelyn scrapes her bare feet as she crouches down hurriedly and looks toward the direction of the howl.
Lucas could hear the pack stop and made his way towards it. He seemed passive for the timebeing, curious rather than aggressive. He detected the scents of several wolves, but didn't really bother to be quiet as he walked through the underbrush.
(I really like the idea of an unstable werewolf, at least as far as transforming goes.)
Cash sighs, rubbing at his already bloodshot eyes. "Of course, no one has thought about explaining how to teach a werewolf your language."
He smirks at his words, but his smile drops when his ears catch the faintest sound; a howl.
Evelyn snarls and walks up to meet the intruder in front of the pack
Lucas bows his head in a submissive way, showing that he meant no harm to the pack.
EVelyn snarls, getting down on her hands and knees, snarling, Two werewolves in one day?
The hairs on his neck raise, and Corvin turns to look out the window. In the distance he can see the woods that make up the expanse of his parents' property. If the source of the sound was close, at the treeline, his wolf eyes could easily pick it out from the trees, but seeing as it's daylight, and past the full moon……he sighs, wishing he could control his transformation. How did Evelyn manage it? She seems to have some form of control.
He doesn't hear the sound again. It was just a wolf. Just a normal wolf. He lies to himself, forcing himself to turn back to his research.
