Jamie paled. "Why were you following us?" He asked, a little afraid. He knew the others would probably help if she tried to attack, but he wasn't completely sure they were paying attention. They were probably flirting to much to notice the strange vampire.
( could Charlie and Hecate be friends?)
(Sure.)
“It’s not everyday you see two royal vampires and a royal werewolf running together.” She grinned, “Plus I had to make sure you guys weren’t kidnapping and eliminating my friend.”
Two royal vampires, and a royal werewolf running together.
It was as if she hadn't even known Jamie was there. He tried not to take that personally.
"Well we weren't, alright?" Jamie snapped, glancing down at his hurt foot. It burned, a lot. It was what he got for touching silver though.
Charlie looked up from the ground, " HECATE!" She shouted, a little less louder then she normally would, and running over hugged her friend. "Why are you here darling? Was there something you wanted to talk about?" Charlie said, puffing Hecate's hair.
Jamie glared at Charlie and shuffled out of the way to avoid being stepped on as she ran towards her friend.
“Well I was curious.” Hecate pouted. She turned to Jamie, “Does it hurt?”
Jamie looked away. "Of course it does, why wouldn't it?"
“Right, silver. Wait I should have something…” Hecate said, digging through her bag. (I’m going to be gone for 2 hours, ttyl! :<)
Part of him hoped that she would laugh and say he deserved it, so that way he wouldn't have to deal with her trying to help him. But another part wanted to see if she had a way to make the burning stop.
(Wait what? Okay I guess)
Charlie looked back at Jamie and blushed, " He's cute Hecate, why is a werewold cute" she whispered quickly.
Jamie decided to pretend he didn't hear that. Why would she think he was cute? He was a werewolf. And besides, he was gay- though, she didn't know that.
Charlie looked at him, blushing harder, " So he's gay…" Charlie whispered again.
Jamie looked up at that. It was as if she didn't know werewolves had amazing hearing. And besides, he had thought said he was gay. How did she know?
"What did you say?" He asked, starting to get alarmed.
Charlie stopped blushing, thinking Jamie was questioning her tendancies, " You thought it, I can read your mind. I'm gifted." Charlie replied, her eyes shining a deep blood red where the slightest bit of anger caressed her pupils.
Jamie took a step back, ignoring the pain in his foot. "You could read my thoughts this entire time?"
"Yes dummy, that's how I found you." Charlie replied, her eyes returning to the cool purple colour they were before
Jamie took another step back, away from Charlie. He wasn't even trying to hide the terrified expression on his face.
Jamie didn't trust vampires. He never did. And finding out that this one could read minds definitely did not make him feel better about being around three.
“Here.” Hecate said, pulling out what looked like normal bandaging, “This will soothe the pain.” (Can we pretend it does? Because I have run out of ideas of what can help the pain.)
Jamie looked away from Charlie and towards Hecate. He took the bandages from her, and wrapped them around his foot. It… felt fine. Amazing really. "Well, um, thanks I guess." He said a little awkwardly. He pulled the over sized jacket tighter around himself. He turned back to the rest of the group. "We need to keep moving if we're going to reach werewolf territory before tomorrow,"
“Your welcome.” Hecate said cheerfully, “… wait you guys are heading to the werewolf territory?”
