The TV screen lit up suddenly. "Ten minutes remaining," Enzo read out shakily.

John stared at the screen in shock. Ten minutes to get all the votes in again. The torture of seeing everyone come out in tears… and when the person actually dies… He looked at Veda and Enzo. John knew who he should vote for, "I'll go in," He spoke solemnly and went into the voting booth. He came out, being able to meet neither Enzo's nor Veda's eyes.

Liam drew in a shaky breath, then went inside after. I'm a murderer, I'm a murderer… He chose, and came out of the booth with tears pricking his eyes. "I'm sorry," he said hoarsely, although whether it was to Veda or Enzo remained unknown.

Lixi collapsed on the floor, her nerves were fried, the peer pressure got to her. She sighed as her body hit the floor, some sleep would be nice, she thought to herself as her vision dimmed.

Enzo stumbled into the booth and made his choice. He hesitated, but only for a moment. He had a duty, after all. He couldn't shirk on his duty. He hurried back out into the lounge, sitting back down. "Did you vote, Lixi?" he whispered, but she was asleep. He reached out and shook her. "Hey, conejita. Wake up."

Lixi groaned and covered her head with a pillow in response. She was tired, she wanted to escape the horrid world she was in.

Enzo assumed the groan meant she'd already voted. He was sure she hadn't voted against him. At least he could trust her. He would do anything to make sure the two of them escaped this together. He smiled gently down at her, his eyes blurred with tears. "All right. Rest well, mija."

Lixi unconsciously grabbed onto Enzo's hand, not letting go as she fell into a deep sleep.

Veda walked into the booth and voted. When she came back out, she shakily slid down against the wall.
"Veda. Remember our promise. Stay alive, for me. If for no one else, then for me." Aaron's dying words barely left his lips before his body went limp in Veda's arms. "No–n-no Aaron. AARON!" Veda screamed, her newly blinded eyes overflowing with tears. "Aaron, you promised." She choked out as she held her best friend and first love's body close to her, which was covered in the bloodwolves' destruction, the price Aaron paid for saving Veda. "You said you would never leave. You p-promised."
Veda drew her knees to her chest and put her hands over her head, tucking her head between her knees. "You promised. You promised." She whispered. "I'm sorry Aaron, but I have to break my promise too." She said out loud, loud enough for everyone to hear her.
