Armais grinned and followed them both. Not many others followed, which was either a blessing or a disappointment, Aramis didn’t know. She couldn’t stop smiling as the assistant led them to the black-top.
Armais grinned and followed them both. Not many others followed, which was either a blessing or a disappointment, Aramis didn’t know. She couldn’t stop smiling as the assistant led them to the black-top.
The assistant lead them to a spot that was actually rather blacktop adjacent, with stone crosses that had something written on the tops and a hole in the center. The assistant took out a paper and muttered something, as the paper grew into a staff reading "Ryumata". She poked the end of it precisely into the hole of one of the crosses, and it reformed into a stone golem of some sort. With another poke, an illusion was cast over it making the thing look human.
"This ain't no Hogwarts or Xavier Institute, but it'll do!" Razz said.
"Now fire away on this golem. I can promise it's nigh indestructible and capable of self-repair! Now who's first!" Kardi asked.
“I’ll go!” Aramis exclaimed, taking her ring off and it turning into a wooden staff with a hook on the top and ice covering the ends in beautiful patterns. She took a step forward and pointed the staff at the golem and sent a blast of ice encasing the outside of the golem, freezing it then blasting it into a million pieces.
Applause resonated around them, and the assistant stepped out. "Nice!" She said, A shaggy fox tail peeking out from her long skirt. The golem began to reconstruct itself with astonishing speed and efficiency.
"That was great." Raziel said.
Aramis curtsied and giggled a little, “Why thank you. It’s nothing really, just a little trick I learnt.” She said, standing next to Raziel and have him a smile.
"Alright, me next!" Raziel said, stepping up. He shifted his arm, it grew longer, full of twisted muscle. Dark fur spread across it like fire, and hooked, bladelike claws grew from it, all fast and efficient and gruesome.
"That's more like it!" Raziel said flexing his new paw. Immediately the golem exploded into dustlike particles.
Raziel dusted off his arm, and shifted it back, grinning wickedly.
Genevieve walked into class and sat next to Erik. "Sorry, I'm late. I got lost."
((btw Gen has an accent like Dodie Clark (the youtuber), just so everyone can get an idea of what her voice sounds like. idk.))
“Cool!” Aramis said, clapping along with the other students.
(Ok. Razz and Aramis are out demonstrating their powers.)
"Thanks!" The fallen angel said, as the golem began to reconstruct itself with the same vigor as earlier.
"Not so bad yourself…"
“Not as cool as yourself.” She said, giving him nudge with her elbow
((Can Gen go and demonstrate her powers with Rass and Aramis? Or would that not work))
Raziel chuckled, as another kid kid stepped up. Apparently a vampire.
"Should we go find a better vantage poinr to watch?" Raziel asked, growing huge, powerful, white plumed birdlike wings. They were stiff, and sore, but ready for use.
(She can!)
“Sure thing, any good spot you know of?” She asked, admiring his wings for a moment.
"Yeah! Can you fly?" He asked whisking off to the roof of a classroom just a few feet away. The vampire kid hit the golem with a flurry of punches. Too fast for normal human eyes to see, leaving it a pile of rubble.
Aramis smirked and soared up in the air, using the wind to carry her the few feet to the roof top. When she landed, she crouched down on the ledge and held her staff across her shoulders.
"Alright." Raziel said, sheathing his wings to make room. Next up was a werewolf kid, who sliced the golem to bits with chops.
“Oft, I know they aren’t real but I kinda feel bad for them.” She admitted.
"They can always just reform, besides, these golems are a rather special type." Raziel said, as the kids stopped demonstrating.
“We should head back down.” Aramis said, standing up on the ledge.
"Alright." Raziel said, eyeing the balls of light above the rock avatars before them. Most of the time those balls of light, which were the actual golems, or spirits with power over rock and stone, resided in the stone statues, but when called out, they simply exited the statues, and were responsible for controlling the stone. That way everything was humane. Raziel eyed the pretty lights as the rest demonstrated their powers.
“You coming or what?” Aramis said, smirking and taking a step off the ledge, starting to free fall.
Razz zipped up his shirt where his wings were, and then jumped off, beside the frost woman.
“Woo hoo!” Aramis laughed as the wind lifted her back up into the air and safe from hitting the ground bellow.
