“Eh, why not,” Vien chuckled before getting himself a glass as well
Vin laughed and took a drink of the wine. “That’s my man!”
Vien just rolled his eyes before pouring some wine and taking a swig
Vin set down his glass and continued eating. “Mmmm… it’s good to be home.”
Vien hummed in agreement before taking a bite of his food. “As lovely as the coast is, home is just a little better.”
Vin nodded. “I don’t think I’d be able to move out there. I like the people and bustle.”
“We could always find an ocean city somewhere,” Vien suggested. “Somewhere nice and misty, where the only excitement is the people.”
Vin shrugged, looking thoughtful. “It’d be expensive down there.”
“My boss owes me a lot of favors. Maybe I could get some cash from him to buy a house,” Vien mused
Vin frowned a little, glancing up at Vien. “Sure, but shouldn't we just leave him alone?”
“Not if it means free cash,” Vien chuckled. Granted, he hated his boss, but at least he paid well
“Still. I don’t like the sound of that guy.” Vin shook his head.
“But he’s a rich bastard who owes me cash, so,” Vien hummed before taking a cinematic swing of wine
Vin huffed. “That rich bastard can do so many things to you, and you don’t care.”
“It’s not that I don’t care, it’s that I can’t stop him. He literally owns my soul, remember?” Vien said before returning to his food
Vin silently shook his head. He wanted to ask more questions, but he knew Vien’s boss would punish him somehow.
Vien eventually finished his food, but he kept sipping his wine idly
Vin finished up too, drinking the rest of his wine. “Well, that was fun.”
Vien hummed in agreement. “Now, do you want me for dessert, or do you want something else first?” he hummed
Vin sighed. His mood was most snuffed out from the conversation they just had.
“I don’t care.”
Vien detected that Vin was feeling a bit off as soon as he heard Vin speak. “What’s wrong?” he asked
Vin glanced up. “Nothing. Nothing’s wrong.”
“I’m not an idiot, baby. I can also see auras. Now spill,” Vien huffed
Vin shook his head. “Nothing. I’m fine.”
Vien leered at him now. He walked over to Vin, sliding into his lap before wrapping his arms around his neck. “Spill,” he repeated
