Taylor noded. "My father would accept American currency. But he doesn't except anything else than that, really. He is a collector." Taylor shrugged, still not looking at them. He was hiding something. He just didn't want to share.

"Thank God, I was getting a little worried…"
Reed was burning with curiosity. Everything about this man seemed so strange… “Excuse me mister, but is it safe to talk out here? I have a lot of questions.”
Crow fluttered her wings as if saying, Don’t be stupid!
He whispered to her, “It’ll be fine.”
Taylor shook his head. "No. It isn't. We'll talk in you're room." Taylor said, with a straight face.
“Okay then.” He shoved his hands in his pockets and walked on.
"Honestly, I'm relieved I haven't seen any sort of spirit…" Aura sighs in relief, "Normally, at this point I would've found something already…"
Taylor shifted to Aura. "Miss. There are no spirits here…And I doubt there'll ever be.." He whispered that last part and continued walking.
"Well, it'll be nice to have a break, sometimes this can be mord of a curse than a blessing…"
That exchange only made him more curious. Reed bounced and skipped as he walked, barely containing his anticipation. He silently wished Crow would have the power of teleportation. She flew from his shoulder, jostled by his bouncing, and opted to fly from lamppost to lamppost.
Aura kept walking, paying attention to every single detail, trying to figure out what to do next once they arrive at the motel, thinking how the would even get back to their homes.
As they entered The motel Taylor's father walked over and greeted them with a smile on his face. But as he turned to Taylor, his smile turned into more of a mad look. "Taylor, go to you're room." Taylor rolled his eyes. "Yes, father…" Taylor sighed, entering the basement of the motel.
Aura looks at the man who seems to be Taylor's father, "Perhaps you're being a little harsh with him sir, but that is none of my bussiness…"
Crow had returned to Reed’s shoulder as they entered the motel. He watched Taylor descend into the basement, an eyebrow raised. Was it safe to ask questions? Because he had way too many, and the list kept growing.
Taylor's father's face was now a smile. "Would you like a room?" He asked.
"Yes, for all of us." Aura gestured towards Crow and Reed, "How much would it be?"
Taylor's father nodded. "It's free. But if you break something, you'll have to pay a fee."
"Well then, thank you sir…" her tone sounded a more serious, "Just let me know which room and we'll be on our way." She couldn't help but to think about Taylor, though, still, something on her wasn't sure if saying something about it was wise.
Interesting, Reed thought. Does this usually happen? Nothing was really free unless it was an abstract concept or something like that. How does this guy pay the bills?
Oh boy, more questions.
“Excuse me sir, but are pets allowed?”
Crow ruffled her wings in annoyance.
