"The best!" He took two cookies and stumbled around, pulling the cots out and pushing them into different corners, trying to find a good place.

why doesn't he just push ours together? wait… our relationship just started you dingus… Seraph got up "why not just have them on either side of the room?"

"Hmm… yeah… good idea." Idiot, of course she doesn't wanna- she laid on my chest……. shut up. He pushed the other on the separate side. He slit his eyes and looked at the table. "Are… you okay with where the table is now?" He asked. "After we put everything else up…" He grabbed the power strips and extension cords and searched for the outlets. "We can move it if you want."

"table's fine." she grabbed one of the power bars and followed the monitor's power cord, she found the outlet and plugged in the power strip. "well, that's one power strip."

He glanced at her, his expression soft. "Yeah…" He glanced for another outlet and plugged it in. She looks so at ease…

what is he hiding? why won't he tell me what's wrong? she looked through the cameras looking at the different parts of the store "walmart sells guns?"

"Hmm? Yeah…." He answered. Wait… He sat at the desk with the monitor and scrolled through the recording logs. "We can see if there were people here!" He turned to look at her.

she nodded "Good idea." she scrolled to the logs tab and selected the very first log. it began to play as Tom looked at the screen with her, it started out as a black screen that, after a few seconds, switched on showing a shadow like creature with other transparent humanoids holding their hands out a white void. piece by piece the displays were assembled from nothing as if they were being pulled into reality. "whaaaaaaaaaat?" Seraph asked with amazement and slight fear in her voice. the video continued as a few other camera's got a look outside as the void seemed to split as grass sprang up as the cracks pulled apart. back in the store the black creature was walking on the walls as they were appearing. the other clear entities had begun to work their way outside creating the road and sidewalks. this place was built by… a god? the black creature pulled out a sidearm and shot the camera's one by one. "looks like it didn't want to be seen…" the creature shot the camera they were watching but soon after one of the transparent figures repaired the cameras. looking back outside it looked just as it looked now.

"Holy shit…" Tom mumbled, his eye wide. "I was not expecting something like that…"

"That was… both terrifying and awesome…" what… was… THAT!?!?! he mind was racing about what it could possibly be. "Was… was that… were THOSE things… gods?" she asked while stuttering.

"I-I don't know… I….. I don't know much about my… world's magic…. i don't know anything about this." He stuttered. "Now that i think about it, ….it makes some sort of sense…"

Seraph seemed to be in a daze "how? it's like it as being pulled from another reality… oh gods that means the multiverse is real…." she felt dizzy.

"We're from different worlds aren't we?" Tom questioned, shocked.

"i think so… oh gods… heh wrong choice of words…" she stumbled to the pack of Oreo's (priority apparently) and sat on her cot (btw i believe they look like these: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/572801646353444507/ )

Tom stared at the monitor for a few seconds and glanced at her. "Are…. Are you okay?" He asked.

She sighed "yeah, i'm… i'm fine, just a little dizzy. realizing that the multiverse exists…"

He got up and chuckled lightly. "At…. at least you didn't get possessed once…"

Seraph head slowly turned to Tom with a confused look on her face "what?"

He looked down. "Long story short I got possessed by some sort of spirit, barely lived. Sorry if i creeped you out…" Gooooooooooooooooooooooooood going you dumbass.

She looked perplexed "ok yeah definitely different universes…"

"My life was normal until then…" He muttered. "But then i realized that more was going on then what meets the eye. (Punsssss) Honestly, I'm all screwed up, mentally and physically." He placed his hand on the broken side of his face.

she got up putting the container of Oreo's back and hugged him "So? You're not broken, just bent. (song reference) I still love you."

His face flushed red and his heart nearly imploded on itself. "I-I…" He stuttered. "I……… I love you too." He wrapped his arms around her.

She began to hum and old lullaby her mother used to sing, as she slowly swayed losing herself to Tom's warm body.

He closed his eye, losing grip on the world around him. Just them and joyful warmth. He hugged her tightly but softly, feeling her sway.
