“that’s okay. we all already knew that” she whispered back and laughed.

Abby let her hair down and went back into the living room. "Jaz, I was messing with you. Calm down," she said with a laugh.

He nodded, face still red as he let go of Kendra.

"Jaz, there' nothing wrong with being protective, okay? I was making a joke," Abby said, trying to put him at ease.

He nodded, sticking his tongue out at Abby.

"I know!" He said, throwing an arm around Abby's shoulders, "If he hurts you I will seriously harm him."

Abby smiled softly. "Jaz, he's not going to hurt me. I promise you that."

“If he so much as puts a toe out of line, he’s gonna regret it” Kendra said picking up her abandoned lemonade glass and taking a drink.

"He won't," Abby countered.

Jazza smirked, nodding in agreement at Kendra's words.

"Yeah, well, if he does, I will-uh, I will punch him-lightly-with-with a finger!" He exclaimed, plopping down onto the nearest seat.

"But. He. Won't. Let it go, Jaz."

"Okay, okay, I get it." He said, a frown now on his face as he walked to his room, "I'll let it go."

Abby couldn't stop herself from humming the song.

“what are you humming? did he play that for you?” kendra pestered.

Abby pursed her lips, then realized what she'd been doing. "Oh. Uh, yeah…"

"Aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" Kendra squealed.

Abby blushed. "Kendra…"

"Abby, come on. its cute. let me fan girl. ive got nothing else at the moment. just let me go for a minute." Kendra said with a giggle.

Abby sighed and the song echoed in her mind.
