Yup. Shall we begin?
Sure, whenever Natasha's ready
Veda was in the kitchen, making supper. She had her earbuds in and was listening to music, humming along to her Disney playlist.
Abby took out her keys and opened the door. Instantly, a wave of scents hit her from the kitchen. She closed the door, put her keys on the hanger, and went to investigate. She knocked on the doorframe of the kitchen, "I'm home."
"Oh, good." Vivian suddenly appeared. "I hope your day has been less boring than mine."
Veda looked up at Abby. "Hey Abby."
"How can it be boring when you have to do what I do?" Abby asked tiredly. "None of the girls listen to me because they think that I have no idea what I'm talking about."
Holly was wearing a sleeveless dress and heels as she walked up to the door. She rang the doorbell.
"Kick their butt, then."
Abby rolled her eyes. She heard the doorbell and left the kitchen, calling "I got it" over her shoulder. She opened the door to see a girl in a sleeveless dress standing there. And those heels looked killer. "Sorry, who are you?"
"Holly Lupo. Your new roommate." she said, extending an arm for a handshake.
Veda took out her earbuds and slipped the Shepherd's Pie in the oven, then walked out to the living room to see who had arrived.
Abby's confusion cleared. "Oh, Holly! Right!" She shook her hand. "I'm Abby, come on in."
(I gtg, see y'all tomorrow!)
Veda gave Holly a half-hearted wave. "Hey." She said simply. Before retreating to her room she turned to Abby. "I'm not feeling well, I'll be in my room if you need me."
She slipped over to the living room, watching the girl with a blank expression. "Do you prefer red or blue?" she finally asked her.
"Yeah, I know who you are. Are you okay with the violin? Oh, and I don't want to bother you but I need to get these kidneys in the fridge before they rot." she said, holding up a blue plastic container.
(Bye Nat!)
Abby nodded at Veda, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Get some rest and be back for dinner, kay?"
Holly made her way inside, dragging along bulky suitcases that a person in heels should never carry unless the wanted a broken ankle.
Abby looked at Holly. "Oh, here, let me help." She took most of the weight off of Holly's hands easily.
