Cyrus went a little pink too “ oh really,” he wouldn't keep eye contact with corbin. “ well if it helps ill try and answer their questions the best I can.”

"Y-Yeah… they're kinda nosy like that. Well… nosy might not be quite the right word. They're just… very involved in my life." Corbin sighed softly and flushed harder, looking away.
Cyrus laughed one of his rare laughs “ sounds like fun. I really can't wait cori” he said softly. This time Cyrus kept an eye on Corbin's red face and smiled warmly. He wasn't going to deny it, corbin made him feel some sort of way that was new and exciting.
Corbin smiled softly and glanced up at Cyrus. "Yeah. They're a lot of fun. My dad will probably want to show you his swords and stuff. Grandpa says he used to do that as a kid too and almost got him in trouble a lot."
Cyrus chuckled “ id be happy to see his swordsmen ship. “ he mumbled ( my head yelling at them to kiss already) Cyrus waited for corbin to finish his food before standing and stretching his wings. In the artificial light his wings shimmered like a hummingbird.

Corbin got up as well and flexed his wings a couple times before holding up his arms to be picked up. He flushed a bit when he realized how much he must look like a child, but he didn't stop. It was easier to be carried.
Cyrus laughed a little and picked him up, walked outside, and lept upwards. It took him a minute to finally catch some speed and get ready to head home.
Corbin held onto Cyrus while they were flying, closing his eyes and relaxing after a few seconds. "Mm… is the couch comfortable enough?" He asked Cyrus. "I don't want you to be uncomfortable or anything."
“ it's enough. “ Cyrus said, caught off guard by the other's question “ why do you ask?”
"Well, I-I dunno… I just wanna make sure you're happy with your living accommodations. I don't really have much to offer unfortunately…" He said softly.
“ it's fine cori, you have done more for me than the cadet school ever did. Thank you” he said and clung to corbin a little tighter.
"If you're sure…" Corbin looked up when they landed, getting back to his feet and leading the way back to to his apartment via the stairs rather than the elevator this time. He headed inside and stretched, yawning.
Cyrus flopped down on the couch, dog tired and ready for bed. His wings sprawled out over his back and arms.
"I'll see you in the morning, alright?" Corbin waved goodnight and headed to his own room to go to sleep. He had a large round bed with lots of pillows, a type that was common amongst avians to accommodate their wings.
Cyrus waved back, he rolled over on his side once again his wings hanging over the edge of the couch. Cyrus thought about the day, his thoughts training off to Corbin's face and smile. He shook the thoughts out of his head. “ sleep God damn it..” he mumbled to himself.
Corbin slept late in the morning since he didn't have to go to work. He eventually came out of his bedroom in similar attire to the previous day; a large cozy hoodie and shorts with slippers. He started making himself hot chocolate and coffee, planning to mix the two together.
Cyrus came out of the bathroom in what looked like black volleyball shorts, knee and wrist combat braces, and a tight black tank top. He’d also tied his hair back.
Corbin looked up when he heard someone else in the apartment and waved upon seeing Cyrus. "Morning. Do you like coffee?" He asked. "I always make mine really sweet, to be honest… I can't handle it by itself."
“ I'll just take one black please,” he asked kindly, he grabbed his bag for training “Coming to watch or staying here?” he asked
"Alright." Corbin poured a cup of black coffee for Cyrus and slid it over to him. "Mmm… I dunno. I might. I'd have to change into proper clothes, though."
“ or you could go like that and have an Admirer. “ Cyrus thought out loud “ oh shit I said that out loud didn't I. “ he said as his face went bright red.
Corbin flushed red and was glad that he didn't have a cup in his hands to potentially drop. "I-I… um… I could, yeah." He laughed nervously, not entirely sure how to respond.
Cyrus didn't talk for a few minutes “ I really didn't mean to say that aloud I promise “ he mumbled after taking a couple of drinks of his coffee.
"I-It's fine. Don't worry about it, really. I'll go get dressed." Corbin dipped his head politely and headed to his room to change. He soon returned in a pastel purple sweater and jeans with his old, tattered sneakers.
Cyrus had been drinking his coffee in silence, thinking about something. He hadn't noticed corbin come back in, and started rambling to himself.
