Corbin flushed red, his wings puffing up a bit. "A-Ah, um… t-thanks…" He stammered in reply, clearly flustered. "We should… um… we should get going…"

“ yeah, “ Cyrus walked out of the building, he clung to the rail in the elevator. He always hated that feeling, ever time he felt like he was falling.
Corbin led the way out, holding loosely to Cyrus' hand and looking around once he was outside. "Um… I dunno how to get to the fair from here."
“ I do, “ he said. Cyrus tried to take flight, feeling the full pain of falling from training yesterday fully kicking in. “ owe..” he yelped as he landed, holding his left-wing.
"Cyrus! Are you okay??" Corbin asked worriedly, looking up at Cyrus and glancing to his injured wing. "Did you hurt yourself? What happened?"
“ it's from when I fell in training, I thought I was fine. “ he mumbled and let go of his wing, he closed it and checked his other wings range if movement.
"W-We can just walk to the fair, okay? Or get a cab or something. You shouldn't be flying if your wing hurts, and I'm not strong enough to fly both of us." Corbin came closer to check Cyrus' wing, trying to see if he could figure out what was wrong with it.
Cyrus took a step back out of habit. He wasn't sure why he did but he just did. “ a..sorry,” he said apologizing after realizing what he‘d done. “ and sure, let's walk.”
Corbin pulled his hands away, not wanting to make Cyrus uncomfortable. "S-Sorry…" He fidgeted as he walked along beside Cyrus, keeping his eyes on the ground.
Cyrus put his hand in Corbin's “ I think it's just sprained, it'll heal in three or four days” he mumbled
Corbin nodded, moving a bit closer to Cyrus when he took his hand. "That's good… I guess my wrist should heal soon as well, then?"
“ yeah, it actually should be good by now,” he said, smiling when corbin moved closer.
"Mm… it still hurts a bit, though, so I'll keep the brace on for now. I don't want to hurt it worse." Corbin yawned and kept walking, humming softly to himself.
“ how in the wide world are you still sleepy?” cyrus asked with a chuckle
"Mmmm… I'm always a bit sleepy." Corbin smiled softly. "I'm sure the coffee will kick in soon and I'll be fine."
Cyrus laughed “ it better have.” he said jokingly once they were at the fair, he bought the tickets and bracelets. Putting one around Corbin's good wrist, leaning in a bit closer as he was putting it on.
Corbin flushed a bit when Cyrus moved closer to him, but didn't draw attention to it. "So, what all can we do here?" He asked, looking around the fair curiously while Cyrus was putting his bracelet on.
“ with our bracelets, we can ride any ride however much we want, but I only have enough tickets to play like five games. “ he said, leaning upwards and smiling slightly at the memory he had at the fairs.
"Mmkay." Corbin wandered around with Cyrus in tow, pulling him over to a nearby ride so they could go on it. "This looks fun!" He chirped, smiling brightly. "You wanna go on it?"
“ sure “ cyrus said happily. Though he gripped corbins hand a little tighter.
Corbin didn't seem to notice, leading Cyrus onto the ride and getting on it himself. "I used to come to these fairs with my dads sometimes."
“ that's nice,” Cyrus said and sat next to corbin, he pulled the guard down and waited for the ride to start.
The ride started once everyone was on it, and didn't last especially long, but Corbin seemed to enjoy it. His hair was disheveled and he seemed exhilarated once it was over, a breathless smile growing on his face.
Cyrus smiled with corbin, forgetting for a moment of his fears. He watched the other with a warm gaze, this was the happiest he's seen cori since he had been with him.
Corbin pulled Cyrus off of the ride and wandered off somewhere else, looking around for snacks. "Ooh, can we get cotton candy?" He asked, still beaming sunnily.
