"Alright, so we're driving I presume? That's what I gather from you getting your keys."

"Yea its getting a little dark and two dogs can be a little hard to handle anyway" he said, locking and shutting the door behind him. "That and my house keys are on this keychain"

"Fair enough." Vixie got into the passenger seat and Baby hopped into the back.

Jaxon climbed in the drivers seat, turned on the car and drove off towards the shelter.

When they made it to the shelter, Vixie walked inside excitedly. She looked through the cages until she came across an adorable puppy. "Oh, Jaxon! We should get him!" She stuck her fingers through the bars so the puppy could lick them.

"What do you think Baby?" he asked crouching infront of the kennel.
Baby wagged her tail excitedly and licked his face. "alright i guess we can get this one" he chuckled and walked towards the lobby so he could talk to the people about the dog and get a new collar and leash as well.

A worker came over and took the puppy out of the cage, handing him to a happy Vixie. He wagged his tail, licking her hands happily. Vixie carried the puppy over to the front desk, grinning.

"Do you want to pick a collar and leash Vixie?" He said turning to her and petting the happy puppy in her arms.

"Sure! What should we call him?" Vixie looked through the collars and picked out a nice red one. "I rather like the names Charlie and Scout."

"I like Charlie" he said, waiting on the lady behind the table to finish what she was doing. "Do you want to go toy shopping? we probably should get another food and water bowl too now that i think about it"

"That sounds great." Vixie slipped the collar around Charlie's neck and attached the leash to it, leading him out of the shelter.

Jaxon followed Vixie, Babys leash in one hand, paperwork in the other.

"So, where's the nearest pet store to get what we need?" Charlie trotted quickly beside Vixie to keep up.

"few blocks down, everythings kinda close in this town" he said, openning the passenger and back doors for the dogs and Vixie, letting Baby hop up in the back seat.

Vixie picked up Charlie and got into the passenger seat, holding him in her lap.

Jaxon closed the doors and walked around the car and climbed in, turning the car on as he pulled his door shut.

They soon arrived at the pet store and Vixie hopped out of the car with Charlie. She set him down on the ground and walked into the building.

Jaxon got out, got Baby from the back, and jogged after Vixie. "Excited huh?" he said chuckling and sliding his hand into hers.

Vixie smiled as a response, entwining her fingers with Jaxon's. She walked down the aisle of dog bowls and food, examining each closely.

"I usually get that food" He said guesturing to a natural bag of food with the hand holding Baby's leash. "All natural"

"Yeah… and they have a puppy variation! You probably get the adult kind for Baby." Vixie pulled a bag of puppy food off the shelf.

"Well yea i do now." he chuckled. "I still have food at home for her. To the bowls?"

"To the bowls!" She went to the aisle with bowls. "Which one do you want, Charlie?" Charlie sniffed the bowls and bit down on a wooden one, dragging it off the shelf.

"get two buddy. you need water too" he said crouching down to grab the bowl Charlie pulled from the shelf and a second one, then standing up.

"There we go, we'll get these ones. Anything else we should get? You probably already have toys."
