To Peonie’s surprise, someone answered… Crescent.
“I’m not stealing anything… I’m on your side today… I’m aware of the whole terrorist thing so if they think they can beat me to the jewel, I’m more than happy to see them try” Crescent answered, dropping a note in front of Peonie.
"Ever the competitor." Peonie looked around the crowd, keeping everything natural.
She couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, yet. Soon enough they would start to stick out like sore thumbs.
Quickly, smoothly, Peonie dropped to pick up the note and opened it up. Huh??
What was inside the note might be something quite unexpected; the interior of the building with some markings.
“I’ve found bombs around the place, probably set by those terrorists… the Special Force Zero people might know how to disable them but… there are five in total and I’m sure there’re more coming when those people start to attack. Oh yeah, they’re all time bombs by the way, set to exactly 12:10… and it’s 11:50” Crescent stated before he patted Peonie’s shoulder.
“Good luck on your side, I need to go take care of mine” he said as he started to run towards the elevator before disappearing into the crowd.
Peonie's face fell as she stared at the interior layout. Why did she train to be an officer again? It was always when she was trying to be good at her job, that something, such as the note, threatened to knock her back down. Twenty minutes, five bombs. Right, best get to it then. She crumpled the note into her pocket and quickly made her way over to the leader of the SPZ. Calling them intimidating would be an understatement, but there was a hesitant look in Peonie's eyes before she cleared her throat. "Excuse me, but I think you ought to see this." she took the crumpled note from her pocket and held it out.
The leader of the SPZ straightened the paper a bit before he had realized what was written on it. He scanned through the papers a little, sighed then nodded, turning to his men.
“1, F2, 2, F7, 3, B8, 4, B9, I will go to B11 myself…” the leader of the SPZ stated his orders before he turned back to Peonie.
“I would guess Crescent was the one who wrote this… but I’ve got no reason to ask how and where did you get this… thanks anyways…” the cruel look of the leader looked a bit calmer than usual before he walked towards the building along with the other officers.
Now, there was another officer who had just arrived at the scene, the same officer who was with the detective at the Ruby Cherry exhibition. Today, he looked a bit tired and as he got out of the car, gave a yawn.
