@Natasha
"It's weird I know. Just go with it." Sydney returned.
"It's weird I know. Just go with it." Sydney returned.
"Hey, I think it's cool! I'm totally using that from now on, if it's okay with you," Brooke stated as she made her way over to the tidal pool. She looked in and saw some rocks at the bottom, then quickly grabbed her net to fish them out.
"Look at these, you guys!" she exclaimed, dumping them on the ground.
"What about it? They're just a couple of rocks."
"Of course it is–whoa what are those?" Sydney said, her fingers slipping slightly as she leaned hazardously on the edge of the rocks.
Piper walked over, looking at the rocks. "I like this one," She said, taking the one that faded from red to orange.
"They look cool, I guess," she shrugged, but continued to eye them.
(i have a quick question. what actually happens with the rocks and such?)
(Yeah, is there like a bonding/connection reaction)
“This black one with a white stripe is definitely calling my name.” Itzal joked and bent down to look at the rocks. They seemed to all be the same but with different color stipes.
Becky bit her lip, before bending down as well to get a further look. The orange striped was very pretty…
"Yeah, this red and orange striped rock is totally me."
(Okay, so when they touch the rock that they get their power from, they'll probably freeze up for a moment or something. You can each change how your character reacts to it, but that's basically it.)
(Chill, who wants to go first?)
(I can. One sec.)
Brooke inspected the rocks, and, seeing a pale gray one with a glittering purple stripe – like it was an amethyst or something – she picked it up. Her vision suddenly blurred, and she sat down, unable to think, unable to see, and unable to hear.
Suddenly, laughter resounded in her head.
Ah, finally! It's been so long since I've been set free! A light, feminine voice filled her thoughts.
What– Who– Who or what are you? Brooke questioned the voice.
Oh, me? I'm Foyja (silent 'j'), the Guardian of this stone.
The what? It's just a rock!
No, dear, it's not just a rock.
The voice faded, and Brooke blinked, finally able to see again.
"Woah. Brooke, you okay?" Becky grew concerned with the girls sudden stop.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. Totally fine," Brooke assured her, shaking her head to clear it. What the heck had just happened to her?
Sydney had picked up a rock with a more crystal look to it. She froze, feeling a weird tingling in the back of her neck. Her fingers slipped and she fell on her back into the rocks underneath her.
Wow! Nice landing. Said a voice in Sydney's head, tinkling with laughter.
Holy McFluffnuggets what in the world?
Oh, right, I should probably introduce myself. I'm Faye, Guardian of the stone you are currently holding.
Wait….what?
Wake up Sydney.
Sydney's eyes sprung open and she gasped. "Oh my goodness!" She gasped. "Cold!" She managed. Her back HURT! She tried to remember what had happened in the span of three minutes.
(That okay?)
(Yeah, of course!)
(how do you guys bold and italicize stuff?)
(Yay!)
(how do you make things bold again?)
(how do you guys bold and italicize stuff?)
(It's with astericks. *
Two on each side is bold.
One is italics.)
"Guys…….this rock is burning me," Piper started to say, and suddenly her vision went red. She sat down, ears and eyes burning and no thoughts in her head.
A noise almost like a groan fills her head.
Oh, a GIRL.
Is that a bad thing?
I've never had a GIRL pick up the stone.
Um….who are you?
I am Filip, guardian of this stone. And like I said before, I've never had a girl pick up the stone.
Well…….too bad.
Wake up Piper.
What?
Wake up.
Piper blinked, burning all over. "HOT!" She screamed, and ran and dived into the lake.
(this ok?)
Itzal cautiously reached down to take a stone of his own. After seeing his friend’s reactions, in the back of his mind his mom chided him,
if your friends all jumped off a cliff would you do it too? Yes. He would.
With that, he confidently grabbed the stone with the white stripe. And the world turned black. Then the light came, blinding light, washing out his vision. A strong voice cut through,
‘ello love, long time…this is yours truly, Bjartr
Uh, 'ello…Bjartr
Well then, you best be on your way
Um, okay
And with that, Itzal blinked a couple times, then stared at his friends totally dumbfounded at what just happened.
Rebecca glared at the stones for a moment, suspicious. Then she promptly snatched the orange striped stone. Gasping, she slipped in her shock, landing on the ground with her legs hanging.
AH! I'm so sorry… I didn't know you'd react like that!
…What?
I-I'M SORRY THAT WASN"T POLITE; OH, FORGIVE ME. They call me Ora. I am the Guardian of this stone.
No. It-It's just a stone… Either way, why are you in my head?
I'm your helper! This is how I will communicate.
Okay… Weird but okay…
When… Ora didn't respond, she got up from her awkward position, dusting herself off as if nothing happened. However, she still clenched the rock.
