So I saw Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse earlier today (AMAZING movie btw) and it inspired me to create a similar RP. It will follow a similar plotline to the movie and have similar (but OC) characters. The only thing is that you have to have seen the movie first.

RULES
-No IRL hate.
-No swearing. If your character needs to swear, censor it.
-Humans only. They are from Earth, nowhere else.
-Don't make it all about your character. It frustrates me when people make it about themselves.
-Ask to join first before posting your character. If you really want to join but don’t ask, that is one strike. You are free to join, just ask first.
-If it says closed, don't ask for it. Just don't.
-Wait for ME (@@I'm-Dreaming-Of-A-Rouge-Rena) to accept your character, not anyone else.
-All kinds of characters are accepted, just make them unique.
-Don't include personal drama.
-1 character ONLY
-LGBTQA is allowed. Just don't make all characters straight.
-MALES EXIST.
-NO DEVELOPS, ESPECIALLY ON PERSONALITY.
-Two strikes, YOU'RE OUT. No second chances.
-Please no links (unless described after). Proper descriptions like: Mid length dark brown hair with a few lighter highlights; Blue eyes with a splash of amber that make them look like paint has been dropped on them, not shaggy brown hair, green eyes, pale skin. Be descriptive. This also applies for style, however it does not have to be as descriptive.

Name: Brandon Parkwood : Spider Song
Age: About 26
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Questioning
Appearance: Weighs about 160, 5'9, Blonde hair that's a little long but just barely reaching his shoulders and it's slightly curly, no facial hair, a sort of bluish green hue in his eyes, sort of pale complexion
Style: Usually a blue sweatshirt and black pants. However, he also has a signature yellow hoodie that he got from his half-sister. He's practically always wearing this.
Personality: Brandon can be nit-picky not only towards others but also to himself. He has ADD and can not sit still. He fidgets often and often caught lost in thought. He can be easily startled because of his absent-mindedness, and can be clumsy at times. He prefers logic over feelings. Strangely enough, he's still open minded because he has a tendency to consider every angle before coming to a conclusion. Brandon has a unique and wild imagination and his creativity can often be difficult to interpret. Nevertheless, Brandon can be fun to hang out with and enjoys discussing music.
Likes: Music, instruments, songwriting, etc. fish, the colors yellow and blue, and journalism.
Dislikes: The fact that he can't focus, ignorant people, people that take everything at face value.
Background: At age 23, Brandon's half-sister, MacKenzie, died of a supposed suicide. Though he wasn't surprised by this because her father died of the same reason, Brandon became heartbroken and struggled emotionally, turning to music as an escape, but ended up breaking his guitar in frustration as he couldn't focus.
What happened when they got bitten: After breaking his guitar, Brandon sat at his desk, panting from the rage he just expressed in his room, surrounded by a mess. He was about to start falling asleep at his desk chair when he felt something sting his right arm. He jumped, looking at his arm to see a strange spider proudly scurrying away. He sighed, standing up to go disinfect the bite, but quickly grew distracted at the mess and cleaned up his room instead, forgetting about the bite after he finished. The next day was when things started to get strange. When he started to practice piano, he couldn't seem to get a finger off of one key, then the next finger off the next key, and so on. After he finally broke it off, he went to wash his hands, thinking something got stuck on his fingers. Upon touching the faucet, he electrocuted it. It was a lot stronger than your average static electricity shock; Brandon could see the electricity fizzle around his sink for a few moments. Either way, he shrugged it off as static electricity and washed his hands. However, that was only the beginning of his strange experiences.
Spider-suit: Keeping the same design as Miles, but the black is closer to a deep, dark blue. The Spider is still red, but his hoodie is the signature yellow
Powers: Same as Miles! Electricity, invisibility, and your friendly neighborhood spider stuff.
Extra abilities: Brandon is athletic and agile, considering he's unable to sit still, he's an active kind of guy, and doesn't mind doing a few gymnastic actions.

Noah, Thomas and Lukas all went on to become actors. Abi followed her passion of music and pursued a successful career in it, but is also noted in having stared in many movies.
Abi is the only one in her family who is not married, but she is engaged to a man named Aaron. Noah is married to with two kids. Thomas is married with one kid. Lukas is married with a kid on the way.
All of the Parker children are either part of the LGBTQ+ community or support it. Abi is pansexual, Lukas is gay, Thomas is bisexual and Noah is straight.
Abi is best friends with a girl named Ruby, and has been for many years. Ruby is actually Abi's sister in law, due to her older brother Mason marrying Lukas.
While she was close to all her brothers, Abi was the closest to her twin brother, Peter. They did quite literally everything together. Abi told Peter about when she got bitten and what happened, that she was becoming a superhero, all of her hopes and dreams. She never expected that he would die because of it. In a fight with a villain, Peter got in the way. Very much in the way, actually. So he was shot. 6 times. In the chest. Abi couldn't get to him in time and blames herself for his death. He died at age 17, and it is a touchy subject for Abi.
What happened when they got bitten: Abi got bitten 5 years ago, at age 16.
She got bitten while in an interview alongside her brothers for their new movie. She had been getting questions both on the new movie and her music career. She was answering a question when it happened. It was sudden: a sharp pinch, a mild burning as the 'venom' rushed through her body and then nothing. She flicked it off, and upon inspection it was clear that the spider was not poisonous, so she shrugged it off and continued. It wasn't until the next day that she realised something was off. While tuning her motorbike, Abi couldn't let go of the wrench. She tried to throw it off, but that didn't work. So she walked over to the wall, stuck the wrench into a gap and pushed. The wrench became free, but she became stuck to the wall. In an effort to free herself, Abi began moving, but she didn't realise she was moving up the wall until she was on the ceiling. Trying to relax, Abi let go and fell straight to the floor. After that, she knew she was different.
Spider-suit: Abi's suit is a mix of three people. When designing her suit, she took inspiration from three of her favourite female spider-people: Jessica Drew's Spider-Woman, Cindy Moon's Silk and Gwen Stacy's Spider-Gwen. The top half of her suit is designed like Cindy's costume, the bottom half is designed like Jessica's costume, and the whole suit is in the colour pallette of Gwen's costume.

Abi has also been developing nanotechnology suits for herself and Aaron. She designed them like Tony Stark did, and have them always in her purse. Of course, Abi keeps her own on her person, but keeps the other one in her purse in case of emergency. The nanotechnology suits are designed very similarly to the pair's real suits, and are made to enhance their powers as well as give them extra abilities.
Powers: Enhanced strength, speed, durability and agility; Ability to cling to surfaces; Precognitive spider-sense
Extra abilities: Abi is naturally flexible and does gymnastics. She has been learning hand-to-hand combat since she was about 10 because her parents want her to able to defend herself. Abi is also extremely smart. She has designed many extra gadgets for herself and Aaron.

Other: Abi has a motorbike that, when a button is pressed, converts colours to look like Web's bike using nanotechnology. She's also made it so that it 'folds away' and she can keep it in her pocket. She has one for Aaron as well.
