"don't worry though I avenged them" Zack said

“ thank you,” he mumbled, getting up hiro went outside. Watching the moon rise he stuck his blade tip in the ground. Balancing on it perfectly he closed his eyes, his powers coming alive in the night. The dew off the plants rose in the air, his markings glowed bright like the moon. Everything seemed to hold its breath.

Zack watched in silence

Hiro stayed there, feeling zack being there he opened his eyes and everything fell, including hiro. “ ouch!”

"well that was… impressive"

“ what?”

"don't play it off as nothing" he said

“ play what?!”

Zack sighed "nevermind"

Hiro growled, going back to trying and focusing on his balance. Closing his eyes he tried to focus on the moon. Using his power again, and somehow getting his dad up off the ground. Not very far but still up there.

Zack used his gravity distortion ability to land back on the ground

Hiro stayed focused this go around. Hed learned the power his dragon form held. Just so happen to be born as a water sprite dragon.

Zack put him to the test and threw a small harmless fireball at him

The water moved quickly, protecting hiro From the fire.

Zack surrounded the ground near him in fire

The water put it out, though his nose crinkled with effort.

Zack combined both fire ground and fire balls

Hiro put them out, only being burned a couple of times. He opened his eyes without his father noticing. The water staying suspended.

Zack clapped his hands "you're doing well"

Hiro smiled, waiting for his father to attack before jumping off his blade and soaking his father. “ checkmate” he said with a laugh.

All the water turned to evaporated mist on contact with his body "I seem to be untouched"

“ I wasn't aiming to kill. “ he said with a smile.

"I know but there was no checkmate" Zack said

“ no checkmate is you got wet.” he smiled like a kid.
