I suck at RPs, but here goes.
We're a small ragtag band of humans who all bonded over the fact that we're trying to find earth again, and no one seems to know where that is. We just do odd jobs here and there, getting about on our ship the Indagatio. That is, until we find an strange holo map that actually has Earth as a location.
Lots of misadventures and the like while we're at it.

(Okay! Because I write quite a bit of sci fi as well, and I have a few alien characters to choose from that I might like to RP as.)
Name: Halo Starr

Species: Human
Personality: Halo is a gentle and kind soul. He'd never hurt a fly and is always there when people need him. He's gentle and quiet, never really raising his voice. He hates seeing his teammates/friends hurt, so he will do everything in his power to love and protect those who can't. He is a loving soul with basically a laid back attitude. If you punched this kid, he'll just let you. He won't fight back unless he absolutely has to. But when it comes to protecting his friends, he snaps and will literally kick your ass to kingdom come if you mess with the people he cares for. But, on the inside he's really hurting. What seems like a child that always smiles, he's broken. Oh, so very broken. He doesn't dare let anyone see his tears though, he doesn't want others to take his burden.
Appearance: Halo has pure white hair that swirls around his neck and sweeps into his eyes, his eyes are a clear color, you would think they're made of glass. He has snow white skin that burns relatively easily. He doesn't exactly have any birthmarks, blemishes, only scars on his back, chest and a few on his arms from shattered glass.
Clothes: Halo normally wears white related colors, such as white, cream, snow colored, stuff like that. The darkest he'll go is a grey, and a light grey at that. He also wears a light jacket, finger-less gloves and a simple combat boots. He has dog tags, but who they belong to is a mystery to everyone but him. He is a fair height of 5'10 but is on the leaner side.
Backstory: Basically Halo trained his entire life to go into space. He was a hard working student and he worked his tail off to getting where he is now. He was super smart, and super careful. He knows what he's doing, and he is a magnificent pilot.
Talents: Piloting, hand to hand combat, managing his time, defending others
Hobbies: Drawing, piloting, listening to music, reading

Backstory: One night when she was 16, there was a huge meteor shower. The next day, she found a crater that contained a alien portal device. She was transported into a not so nice part of the galaxy and has managed to make a living fixing tech (Which was thankfully not too complicated)
Talents: Fixing tech, hacking, climbing, sketching, remembering details
Hobbies: Fixing tech, climbing, sketching, thrift shopping, exploring

Name: Khan-Sho 1-7-Blue (1-7-Blue is her/their assigned surname as her species don't technically have surnames, rather psychic signatures distinguishing friends and family members from strangers.)

Gender: Their species don't have genders, they can reproduce regardless of this fact, but the favor female pronouns so She/Her are the pronouns Khan-Sho will permit people to use.

Personality: Devlop
Appearance: Khan-Sho has a light blue skin tone, with snakelike yellow eyes and gills on the sides of her neck and ridges starting from the top of the neck and going all the way down to her lower back. She has retractable fins along her arms and legs and a very long tongue (good for snogging) with venom sacks (not as good for snogging) lining it along with 183 different taste buds. Her species also has breasts, but they aren't as noticeable as on humans, giving off a flat-chested appearance. She can drink her own internal milk (Not involving the mouth, the process is far too difficult to explain) too, providing nourishment when she hasn't eaten for long periods of time.

Backstory: (How they ended up in space and all that jazz. Don't make it terribly tragic.) Her planet was destroyed, she is the last of her kind. More will be added later.
Talents: Her species are highly psychic and empathic, as they were a hive mind. She can read minds (to an extent, if there's something you really wish to hide she probably won't be able to see it unless you're actively thinking about it on a normal basis.) and has telepathy abilities, and can sense and implant her own emotions and even thoughts/memories in others, along with being able to breathe under water (Hence the gills) and is a much stronger swimmer than your average human. She is also an excellent cook and can play piano, violin, and flute, along with being an excellent singer with an abnormal voice range, from the highest pitch to baritone and beyond.
Hobbies: Idk? What hobbies would you have if you were the last of your kind?
Favorite Weapon: N/A. She hates using weapons…. bad memories. But if she really does need to defend herself, she has her tongue with the previously mentioned venom sacks and training in the traditional martial arts of her race.

Her species don't technically have genders (but some of them will use specific pronouns assigned to specific genders) so there's that….) no glasses, yes definitely open for shipping, and one last thing about her species because it's probably getting really old, me constantly bringing it up that she's an alien and whatnot even though if I could I would definitely go on writing about their history and culture and biology, but here goes: Her species speak with putting the prefix of their name (In her case "Khan") at the beginning of every sentence and the suffix ("Sho") at the end. Like so: "Khan, Hello there, my name is Khan-Sho, Sho."
(Okay, so I know that the psychic abilities are potentially a tiny bit OP, but I promise I won't overuse them or make her solve every problem, I hope she (technically "they" but nevermind.) isn't a Mary Sue. Also, side note, I'll be a bit busy for the next few weeks and might not be able to RP as often, but I'll try!)
