Here’s a messy little intro for a roleplay idea I had. It’s only a rough draft, so please forgive the quality :P

A small crew of inmates breaks out of Delos, the supposedly impenetrable, wandering interstellar fortress built to house the worst traitors to the crown. They escape from their cells in the dead of night, taking a security droid and a small, state-of-the-art spacecraft with them, and vanish without a trace. Many are sent after them, but none succeed—it’s as if they’ve wiped themselves out of existence.

The group of escapees travels the galaxy, forming unbreakable bonds, watching stars collide, exploring forgotten planets and new worlds untouched by the greed of humanity. The security droid (who they rescued from a pile of machinery that was about to be scrapped for parts) remains at their side, a steadfast friend and guide. And the crew of The Outcast is happy, at least for a while. Three years pass, adventures are had, they learn to laugh and live and forget their tumultuous pasts.

But they’re betrayed and found. Two are killed. The remaining three (and the droid) manage to escape and launch themselves into a plot for revenge that leads them straight to the heart of a corrupt monarchy and the beginning of a war that could level planets.

And, uh… That’s all I have for now. To summarize, local space idiots get tangled in bullshit politics that threaten the existence of millions.

There are five spots including my own: three surviving crew members (I’ll play one of them), the droid (me), a monarch or influential political figure, and another character tied to the monarchy.

Spots:

Droid: Me

Surviving Crew Member No. 1: Me

Surviving Crew Member No. 2: @crocssant-is-a-baddas-bitch-queen

Surviving Crew Member No. 3: @ShadeStar

Monarch/Political Figure: @TiredOtter

Other Character: @EWS-izzy

Nathan sighed as he picked up his comb and roughly ran it through his hair again before giving up and throwing it across the room. He rolled across his head to the other side to grab his backpack and his books. Heading towards the door, Nathan pulled his sleeves down and started walking out before turning around and opening the blinds. He looked outside at the bright blue sky and groaned, it was still too early for this. Running down the stairs and into the kitchen, he skidded across the floor where Sparrow was already up, her hair a mess, making a cup of coffee. "Morning kid, where are you going?" She said, yawning. Nathan sighed and gestured to his backpack. "Magnus said that he wanted to show me the "wonders of an early morning" so he woke me up with a call and said that he had something to show me at the park." He groaned. Sparrow laughed and took a sip of her coffee before gesturing to the fridge. "Make sure to take some lunch." She said and turned back to the stove. Nathan frowned and headed towards the fridge and grabbed 3 pre made sandwiches and a bottle of water. He got his hoverboard and jumped on it, waving to Sparrow and zoomed in the direction of the park where he couldn't wait to give Magnus a piece of his mind.

This is from one of my Rps called From the Ashes.

@blue_topaz

(Hey, sorry, busy night. @StarkSpangledBanner, I’m not sure your writing is what we’re looking for in this rp. Sorry, my dude, but feel free to stalk!)

@Simon-Says

Aina had been wandering aimlessly around the yard for far too long, lost in thought. It had been really, really cool to meet the Rampion crew in person. They were all super nice, or at the very least, they were interesting people. That was nice. Suddenly snapping out of her thoughts, she looked around her and noticed a group of teenagers a little ways away. Smiling softly, she skipped (figuratively) over to them, not standing too close, but wanting to hear their conversation. Conversations were always fun to listen to. Unless they took place in a castle. Then, they were quite possibly the least interesting things on the moon. She shook her head at herself and looked back up.
(My rp style is not nearly as sophisticated as others,' I apologise for that 😅 I don't really do any rps that require a serious writing style)

@saor_illust school

(May I?)

(Hey! Mind sending a rping sample?)

(Yeah, course! Here you go!

Lilith clutched Jada tightly, whilst Trinity perched on her tiny shoulder, as they always did nowadays. She didn't like this feeling. She'd seen no-one in a long time, and she was alone, scared. Terrified, even. It was a dark, gloomy, stormy day, and the rain pelted the ground as if they were throwing themselves forcefully against the ground. However, somehow none of it touched her. she even tried to catch a drop in her hand, and failed. The drop fell right through her hand. Confusion flickered briefly on her face, but she shrugged the strange phenomenon away, and went back to looking around anxiously, for anyone she could talk to. Suddenly, a piece of paper fell into her lap, and a spark of hope lit inside of her. Something she could touch! She picked up the paper, and started to read it aloud. "Your new friend: Adam Jones Your mission: You are his invisible friend. remember that. he needs you. and above all, you must remember that you mustn't tell him anything about where you came from."

@blue_topaz

oh crap, two responses and only one spot left
I'm sorry for having to choose between the two of you
@EWS-izzy, you asked yesterday, so I'll give you the 'Other Character' spot. Both of your pieces were good, though (I appreciated the Lunar Chronicles reference, M+Ms)

@EWS-izzy, I hope you don't mind if I PM you? The description 'Other Character' is pretty vague and I haven't specified much about this world, so I could give you a handful of possible options. Nothing set in stone, just some flexible concepts :P

@croccin-champagne

Here she is!

Name: Saral K’theron-il(an old family name. It comes from her patrilineal side, the one that hernon-human DNA also comes from)

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Prefers more to see where things take her, though doesn’t trust easy enough for relationships to come easy. Possibly Pan/Demi. Absolutely open to shipping

Species: Human passing, but is distantly descended from a feline-like race of aliens. This manifests in mostly just personality quirks, though there are a few physical signs.

Role: Survivor

Appearance:
Hair: One of the deceased crew members used to help her dye her hair. It’s mainly a dark purple, with lighter tones and some blues blended in, giving it the appearance of a night sky. She hasn’t been able to bring herself to cut it yet, so it’s been getting a bit long. Light curls, gets unruly when she first wakes up.
Eyes: Almond shaped, a pale yellowish/green like that of a cat. When light hits them right, they reflect it, allowing for better night vision but also for multiple instances of scaring her fellow crew members late at night.
Skintone: A darker olive, that was at one point incredibly smooth.
Build: She’s always been kind of thin but soft, the thin part coming from having grown up without much to eat. Now, she’s packed on a bit of muscle, but not much.
Height: 5’4
Scars: Not a scar, but she walks with a limp due to an injury she suffered in the prison, that she couldn’t fix up properly. Many smaller scars. Her abdomen is covered in a series of large and small scars from being attacked when she was younger, and her fingers are covered in smaller cuts from playing the knife game to make money.
Other: Has a map of the solar system she’s from tattooed on her back, right across her shoulderblades and spine. A cadeceus tattooed on her right forearm as a reminder of her dream to help people. Her other arm is covered in star charts that she had started getting when she was going through her advanced classes for her med degree.

Usual Attire: Dark pants, just on the tighter side to keep loose fabric from getting caught anywhere. Wears brown buckled boots, the soles adjusted somewhat to help support her leg, easing the limp. Only ever wears tank tops, usually in black.
When she needs a jacket, she wears a short fabric jacket with leather sleeves, in a dark blue with white designs on it. It was stolen from a guard at the prison, and she decided to make it her own. Doesn’t wear jewelry, except for a promise ring on a cord around her neck, and occasionally pins in her hair.

Personality: Was never super outgoing, but had always wanted to help people. Has a strict moral code, though the things she’s willing to do to uphold it vary, leaving her on the chaotic good spectrum. She’s wickedly smart, due in part to a photographic memory, though she mainly uses that for memorizing maps and places to make her own maps, or to memorize her textbooks. Prefers spending time alone over spending it with more than a handful of people. Can be reckless when the people she cares about are in danger, to avoid a repeat of the destruction of her sector.

Backstory:
~Born into a poor sector on her home planet.
~Her parents passed away early, and she was raised by her grandmother.
~Wanted to help people, so she started taking early classes at the local college, on track to starting at the best med school on her planet.
~Right after getting accepted, she overheard some things she shouldn’t have, and ended up embroiled in a plot to destroy her home sector. Her involvement and attempts to stop the destruction ended after she was attacked and defended herself, only to be arrested for doing so. She has no clue what happened to her home sector, and lives terrified that she failed to do anything.
~Her arrest ended with her ending up in Delos for murder, the ‘self defense’ conveniently left out.
~After the break out, she formed a close bond with one of the other escapees, and the two ended up an item, with plans for their future, together. After her girlfriend’s death, Saral withdrew into herself, growing quieter.
