Alright I am bored asf so Imma make yet another group rp bc I like those more than 1x1s tbh. Anywayyyy let's jump into it.
For years there have been strange phenomena that have occurred for reasons unknown, with the general human population being largely unaware. What they do not realize, is those who are not human live among them. While they may look similar to humans, they hold abilities that humans can only dream of. These people used to live side by side with humans, until the witch trials wiped many of them out and many more were hunted. Now, it has been so long that most of humanity has forgotten about these peoples, sure that that they don't exist. Without any sort of society or place for those who are not human, the remaining have either hidden within human society or created a ruckus, becoming urban legends or unexplained disasters.
However, the New Magic School has recently been created to help these people find community and to stop those who would harm others with their great powers. In this safe environment, young non-humans are able to hone their powers without hurting anyone and feel a sense of belonging that their parents and grandparents were unable to feel. They are able to be themselves without having to hide. At last, they can live a normal life (or as normal a life you can live with such powers, at any rate).
So there you go. There are a few types of creature that you can be, listed below. Each different type of creature is enrolled in a different program to learn their respective magics.
Witches – They look similar to humans and could pass for one without having to put in any effort. They have the ability to hear, see, and talk to ghosts, telekinesis, and the occasional precognition. They are also stronger and more durable than your average human.
Wizards – They also look similar to humans, just like witches. They practice elemental magic and are more durable than an average human.
Sorcerers/sorceresses – They look similar to humans as well. They can speak to others telepathically and can read minds. However, if someone has a strong mental guard up, it will be different or impossible to tell what they are thinking. Faster and more durable than the average human.
Faeries – They look like humans with pointed ears and delicate features. They do not have wings, but are able to fly with magic. They can speak to animals and plants. More durable than the average human.
The last thing before I get to the forms is the rules. If you want your character to be something specific I didn't list, ask! I mostly just gave specific descriptions so that everyone's powers would be balanced and no one can be op. However, feel free to tweak your character as long as it's balanced and makes sense with the description I gave.

– Idc about cursing, just no slurs.
– Romance is fine but anything explicit goes to pms or fades to black.
– You can't automatically block everything when you're fighting, no auto-killing, etc. Basically if you're fighting, play fair.
