I'ma do this one a bit different, I'm gonna go ahead and start the roleplay and anyone who wants to jump in describe your character and join!! the genre is college life with a bit of action (you'll see), so make your characters accordingly.
My character is Otabek, a gay greek dude with dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, tan skin, and freckles. He's 5'11", 149 pounds, somewhat muscular, and wears Chacos, cargo shorts, and a grey/white henley shirt. He's 24 and going to college for acting.
~~
The sun was just beginning to set the San Fransisco bay alight in orange and red as Otabek awoke in his dorm, sending his blanket sprawling across the small space. It was his first day of the year back on campus, and he was excited to meet all the new film students. Quickly changing into his usual getup of Chacos, shorts and a henley shirt, he grabbed his Nike bag and made his way down the two flights of stairs to the dorm hall's lobby, where he greeted the headmaster before dashing across the parking lot to his Mercedes and heading happily over to the dining hall across campus. The breakfast line was long, but he simply put in his earbuds and hummed softly along to an AJR song while waiting.
Okay, I'm just gonna join in (and btw I don't know anything about college ect. so please help me a bit if I get somthing wrong). My character is Cecilie (her nickname is Cil), a danish girl, who moved to the US two years ago. She has light blonde hair which she mostly wears in a messy bun and a ton of freckles. Her eyes have the most beautiful green color, they look like the sea. She seems quiet but actually never stops talking, if she starts. She adores reading, her dog Luffe and liquorice. She just turned 22 and will be part of the writing class at college.
**
It was already warm outside. Cecilie was on her way to college. She thought about how proud her mother was when she decided to move here. And how disappointed her father had been. "You're a shame" his words went through her mind all the time. And she didn't even know why he was so ashamed. Anyway, now was not the time to think about that. She entered the dining hall, at least she thought it was called like that. It was so different. She glanced at the long line of students, waiting for their food. Sometimes she silently judges other people and considers what personality they have. She spotted a girl, wearing a blue cardigan and black boots. She looked really artisitic. A guy, obviously listening to music, stood at the end of the line. Definitley a creative one. Cil walked across the hall, sitting down at a empty table. It will be great, she thought.
My character is Blake , he's a bisexual, Hungarian and Irish male with dirty blonde hair, baby blue eyes, and tan skin. He's 6' 1", 150 pounds, muscular/fit, and wears old Chuck Taylor's, faded blue jeans, and a short sleeved grayish-blue v-neck. He has a tattoo of a distorted clock on his left forearm,he's 27 and going to college to major in fine arts and minor in preforming arts.
~~
After walking down the street to his favorite coffee shop Blake decided it was time to head to the dinning hall to enjoy the buzz and commotion of the first day. Maybe that was why his sister suggested sociology, but that didn't seem to satisfy his need to learn something new; he was always good at figuring out people, so sociology wasn't new in his mind. Once he reached the crowded dinning hall he found his usual spot had been taken by a girl with a messy bun and freckles, she was cute. Blake scanned the sea of people and found an open spot at a table next the girl. With a deep breath, a cup of green tea, and Neck Deep in his ear he was prepared to start his day off in a different way.
Otabek moved through the line quickly, grabbing a slice of Watermelon, a poached egg, and a light salad with water before making his way slowly over to the nearest table. All new kids sat in that area, he knew, and sure enough, two new kids, an eccentric looking guy and a nerdy looking girl, were sitting a few chairs apart from each other, intent on their food. He sat between them and quietly introduced himself. "Hey! I'm Otabek, a film major. What're you two majoring in?"
Blake lifted his head up to see a shorter, muscular looking guy. He pulled out one earbud and flashed a brilliant smile. "Hey Otabek, I'm Blake. I major in fine arts, but I actually minor in preforming arts."
Cil was suprised. "Ehh. I'm Cil and I'm majoring in writing?" It was a question because she was unsure if she really was majoring.
"Hi Cil, it's super nice to meet you both." Blake had an urge to engage in conversation which was different for his mornings, but he was completely comfortable. "You guys look super new here. Is it your first year?" Blake took a quick sip of his tea.
"It's my third," Otabek replied happily. "Is that green tea?"
"It is! Apple green tea with two packets of honey and four packs of sugar, " Blake recitedhis usual order flawlessly. "What building do you stay in?"
"Cedar." Otabek smirked softly and took a bite of salad. "You two should come hang out sometime."
Blake leans into the table, "Sure, I'm down, if you tell me what that smirk is about."
"Sure." Cil slowly felt less unsure. "Do you know where the writing class is. I have never been in a college before." she smiled.
"I'm not sure actually, but welcome to college. I'm telling you now dead week sucks."
"I have writing next if you just want to follow me," Otabek replied. These people were more fun than he'd previously thought. "You'll see in good time, dude."
"Thanks." She felt so relieved. She was really nervous about how writing class would be, but stood up to follow Otabek.
"See you later, Blake! Meet here during lunch?"
"See ya Otabek, good luck Cil! Meet here at lunch, gotcha." Blake stood and began to amble his was to his art history class.
"So, Cil, where are you from?" Otabek began, stepping out of the dining hall into the warm summer California breeze. "There's people here from all over. I'm from Greece, for example."
"Greece is super cool. My family went on holiday there when I was little a lot." she grinned "I'm from Denmark, moved here two years ago. I wanted to work a bit, but not in Europe so I decided the US would do great."
Blake became increasingly bored and anxious for lunch, he wanted to talk to his new found friends. He also wanted to eat food.
"Denmark!! That's amazing!" Otabek held the door to the liberal arts building open for his new friend and led her down the hall to the third door on the right. "Here we are."
Blake sat in each class and tapped his pen waiting for lunch to roll by.
(is it too late to join?)
Writing class was really interesting and Cil totally looked forward to the next time. But she was really hungry. Why didn't she eat breakfast? Dumb descicion.
(@Ca1iCa1 I don't think so, just make up a character and join the story)
