Hi! I would like a roleplay with a Himbo esque character with MY character
Invalid Character -Valentina
And this prompt!
Person A: “Are you seriously telling me that you never realised I’m a vampire?”
Person B: “I’m sorry ok? I thought you were just really into the aesthetic!”
Here are the rules
3 lines or more, no one liners!
Must be an experienced roleplayer
Must have a character link or a template, whether you have your own or use my simple one I don't care
No Pinterest Links!
I can do anything but if you have any triggers lemme know
Little to no character control. Some is okay if you're setting up a scene for a starter, but try to leave as much room as possible
If not okay with NSFW stuff, also lemme know
Okay this looks adorable, no promises as to if I can get a form/reply up immediately(I have an essay due tonight that I legit haven't even started yet, whoops–) but I'd love to give it a shot! I'm fine with like, violence and blood and stuff, but sexual stuff tends to make me pretty uncomfy(usually kissing and cuddling is as far as I like to go and I'm a minor anyway soooo). Also for the "no Pinterest links", is that like a preference for seeing a written description of the character, or can you not see them? I think I've seen people who can't see Pinterest links on the site… Anyways, I just sometimes like to include something for my character if I'm not using one that I already know well(usually a Picrew).
I can't use them because I mostly use my school chromebook and it simply doesn't load the images. I hate using the site on my phone. Anyways it's fine. I usually wait a day or two before bumping an rp so yeah. Anyways.
I'll wait for your character to be uploaded then. Sorry I'm awkward.
Ah, that's alright! I actually have an idea on how to start if you don't or just want an idea to build off of, but I'll say that after I put my boy up.
Name: Gordon "Gordie" Strype
Age: 18(can change if you'd like it to)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Gordie has short and spiky-looking-but-actually-very-fluffy blonde hair, blue eyes, and ever-so-slightly tanned skin. He's got a scar on his chin from an accident when he was younger, though he's not very open as to what exactly transpired. Gordie is tall, built like a tank, and it's evident that he takes his fitness very seriously. Typically, he can be seen wearing tee-shirts, jeans, and varying styles of shoes, but one thing that remains constant is his mint-green, white, and brown Varsity jacket. (putting a picture juuuust in case you get lucky and your chromebook loads it this time, here's a link too: https://picrew.me/image_maker/94097/complete?cd=EIf9Jh1vqB)
Personality: Gordie is basically a golden retriever in human form. He might not be the most observant or the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's very caring and very stubborn. He also tends to be overly emotional when watching movies, reading books, etc.
Likes: Ice hockey, color guard, colder seasons, happy endings, his friends, hugs
Dislikes: Sad movies, needless fighting, summer, m a t h, feeling alone, drunk people
Made him a hockey player and color guard because those are the two most physical activities I'm familiar with… oof. Anyways, the idea that I had! Basically it was that Gordie and Valentina are fresh out of high school(like, a few days after graduation) and Gordie's panicking because he has no idea what to do his parents kicked him out of the house aaaaaaaa and so he talks to Valentina about it(assuming they're friends) and she's like "uhh you can hang with my family? we're not exactly impoverished so it won't be like we can't afford to feed you and our house is huge so yeah? you can crash here until you get stuff figured out" because she's kinda assuming he knows she's a vampire(prior event?). Then Gordie meets her family and has The Moment and is like "DKLNV YOU'RE A VAMPIRE??? I THOUGHT YOU WERE JUST A GOTH???" and we progress from there
Idk just a suggestion
Valentina is very much stoic and stiff backed due to her whole family being vampire royalty, but I think she'd cave since their friends and be like "fine." And yeah. Also he doesn't know because she's not supposed to tell people coz she'd get staked or worse, popular. I really like it. They became friends because she's in orchestra on the viola.
Awesome! Do you want to start, then?
Uh can you? Also. I feel like they're chilling at the library. At 9 pm. Because Valentina needed new books and hates being out at night alone so she called her Himbo Jock to act as Way Too Loud Body Guard
Alright. I'll probably get something up either tonight(this morning? ngl it'll probably be like 1am for me, it's just past 11 now so) or tomorrow.
That's fine! Get it up whenever
(dkslavsn so something came up, sorry this is so late!)
Gordie sat at a table in the library, trying to figure out how exactly to put his current situation into words. Valentina was at a bookshelf nearby, looking for…something. Gordie hadn't really been paying attention. He'd been quieter than usual all night and pretty absent–the guy had almost bumped into three people already. It was just… he wasn't exactly being kicked out, but his mom wanted to turn his bedroom into an indoor garden and his dad pretty much went with whatever his mom said. They didn't have a spare room, so Gordie would have to sleep in the living room until he could find a job and have enough money for an apartment… "Well, kid, you're an adult now. You can either keep moochin' offa us 'n not complain 'bout where we putcha, or you can finally move the hell out."
Yeah, maybe he was getting kicked out.
Valentina sighed in frustration. "Gordon I require your tallness in assistance. You see that sewing book way up there? Get it down for me. Please." She spoke as always in a heavy tainted victorian accent. Valentina was ice cold and it surprised everyone at school that she became friends with about the sunniest guy in school. But there was upsides to being friends with Valentina, the very woman who can literally bite someone's head off. She's nice enough to bother using her manners on him at times. Gordon also got bullied for something dumb, and no one knows what Valentina did but they ended up getting expelled for 3 weeks, and never spoke to either of them again. She still hated being alone at night though. The one downside of having only one friend and it being a guy is that everyone and their sibling in school kept asking they were dating, which was a real cockroach that just wouldn't die. But now school was over. She was mostly sent as a social experiment by her parents, and then they actually liked her going and so she just kept going. It was way out of her comfort zone and she swore never again once it ended. She had noticed his worried behaviours, like a wolf watching a rabbit shake. "And while you do that. Tell me. Why are worried? Something is sucking at you."
"Huh? Oh, that one? Got it," Gordie said, getting up and reaching for the book. He winced a bit when Valentina asked him what was bothering him. "Ah, it's–well, my mom's kind of, uh, kicking me out. I think. And I don't have anywhere to go, or a job or money to buy an apartment with, so I'm really freaked out about it." He handed her the book. "Honestly, I have no idea what to do."
(Also I'm thinking that Gordon would have a nickname for Valentina, probably something like "Val" if that's cool with you?)
(Val or Vallie. She hates it but tolerates him using it as long as he doesn't over do it.)
"Hm. Your parents were always so nice to me. They don't seem the type to do that to you." She grabbed it from his hands and tucked it under her arm, and walked along. She wore a black silk dress, with red lace along the skirt and covering the cleavage at her sweetheart neck line, with long black silky tight sleeves. She wore a pair of boots, and her usual choker brooch, a proud sign of her bloodline. "Why not hotel? Don't you have money for one?" She didn't really know how things like jobs and economy worked, nor did she care enough to learn. She was rich royalty.
"Val, I don't have a job to get money for one!" he said with a sigh. Valentina always seemed a little clueless when it came to jobs and money, but in the way that it seemed like she didn't really care. Gordie stuffed his hands in his varsity jacket pocket. He'd noticed that his mom was a lot nicer around Valentina than when it was just him or hell, even when the guys from the team were over. He wasn't really jealous, it just kind of stung that they seemed to like their son's friend more than their actual son.
"Then get one… actually. Our stable hand just quit to go get married. I could teach you how to groom and feed our horses. You'll have to come speak with parents of course." She said this as she walked over to the librarian and checked out a small stack of books. She then pulled out her phone. "Butler,I need you to come pick up me and friend. He is going to be the new stable hand. Bring the hearse. Yes without caskets." A smile twitched at the edge of her mouth,a personal joke between her and the Butler. Smiling was rare, and the most you could get out of her was a smirk, before her facial expression fell too it's usual scowl,as it did so now. She had grown up with the Butler, Julius was his name, and liked him quite a bit. They once had been lovers, millennia ago. And now he's 80 and can't remember her tea order, but she makes her parents keep him around, and sometimes helps him when they aren't looking. She is quite fond of him that's for sure. "Thank you. Oh and Butler, even with my nature I can be kind and helpful sometimes, as you know. So don't tease me too much about it. Yes the usual library." She then hung up. "There's some new sports magazines they got just last week." Valentina offered as she walked over to where all the magazines were.
Gordie's eyes widened. "You'd really do that…? Val, you're a lifesaver!" he exclaimed. Someone nearby glared at and shushed him. "Sorry!" he said, quieter. While Valentina was on the phone, he couldn't help but admire that little half-second of a smirk. Even if it wasn't long, Gordon always liked seeing his friend look like she wasn't mad at the world. Of course, he knew that she wasn't really always mad, but she tended to look that way. Seeing her look happy–even if it wasn't much–always made him smile a little wider and left a happy, light feeling in his chest.
When Valentina got off the phone and pointed out the magazines, Gordon laughed. "You know me so well," he said and picked one up with a player in a blue jersey taking a massive slapshot. "Mm… the Rangers aren't doing so hot this season. But hey, the Redwings managed to pull a few wins last year, maybe the Rangers can do the same thing." He was mumbling to himself without realizing it, something that he did quite often.
Valentina did not understand a single word he said, nor did she bother to try too. Sports were a trifle thing to her, as she dug through the little black bat bag that hung at her side, and pulled out a hand mirror and some lipstick, touching up the sides a bit until she got a text. "Come then. We're off to meet my parents." She then walked out to the hearse, leaving Gordon to scramble after her as she got into the car and patiently waited.
(dkslavnf I am SO sorry I completely forgot about this. Unfortunately, I'm going to be leaving for hockey in a few hours and I don't think I'll be able to reply over the weekend. I'll keep the tab open and reply if I can, but if it doesn't happen then I'm sorry)
(That's fine! Enjoy hockey!)
(Bump bump bumpity bump! XP)
