"Okay." She nodded and headed over to the changing room to get her clothes

Derron waited for her to freshen up outside the door

Nikki found the clothes that fit her and slipped them on along with a pair of boots and she pulled her hair into a ponytail before walking outside "okay let's get going then. "

"Alright then" he said taking lead

She followed after him with her arms crossed as she looked around the hall

"any different from home?" He said

"Eh… I mean kinda definitely a different uniform but.. I never really stuck around base I was always on some sort of mission. '

"Well don't worry you get base time which is basically the equivalent of down time but measured in hours instead of days" he said

"Mhm sounds very interesting. "

"at least you get treated better here and get paid what I would assume way more than where you were"

"Money isn't exactly an issue with me I wasn't paid there because I was a transaction I was bought to be a weapon, that's why I don't have a record, I don't exist."

"well you exist now and qualify as an American"

"You can't draw up a record that fast it takes time I'm not that uncertain"

"But I can do a little bit of string pulling it's not official but it's in the works as we speak"
