We were normal. I swear we were. We went to school, we had friends, we had lives. Then the dreams came. Long, detailed dreams of a long passage underground, the only light coming from the end. At the end, a door, with the faintest trace of light behind it. The dark starts to press in on you, you can feel it suffocating you with every breath. You scramble for the door, hoping whatever is behind it will save you from the shadows. Just as you reach it, it swings open slowly, taking it's sweet time as you fight for survival. You peer into the doorway, hoping for that speck of light you thought you saw. You thought. The shadows are beginning to take form, shifting into hideous beasts. You make a lunge for it, falling onto the cold stone. Something touches you softly. You look up. A person in a mask tilts their head slowly. 'What were you running from?' They ask. You begin to answer, then realize how foolish you sound. 'The…the dark…' You say quietly. The person smiles. 'You should have run farther.' They begin to take off the mask….
Then you wake up.
A group of kids keep having strange dreams about a dungeon. Each time, it feels more real. This RP will be about their meeting, their eventual journey to the passage, the meeting of the figure, and the unlocking of the dungeon of their minds.
