There was a thud sound when the apple that Oliver was holding hit the ground. "Um, I'm sorry to hear about that." He wasn't sure what to say. People were now looking at them, he just smiled and picked up the apple. "Sorry." He said again, picking out a few more apples. "We can also get you some new clothes here." Changing the subject was the only thing he could think of right now.
"Yes!" She smiled opening her mouth to take a bite, but then pausing knowing that they were in public, and it hadn't been paid for. " yknow, I had a friend who was an Apple tree dryad……"Her voice trailed off…."She was executed though…."
(This is the same as the one as before that you wrote.)
"Oh yes..that right" she perked back up "And sorry about the Apple…so where are the clothes?" She asked curiously, she was excited to get real clothes on her body
"There at the back of the store, would you like me to walk you there?" Tying the bag he threw it in the cart. They could always come back for food in a bit. Oliver was just as excited as Cheland was to look at clothes. With how cute she was most of the clothes here would look good on her. "Or do you want to look yourself?"
"I wouldn't mind if you came." A wide smile crossed her face as they looked through row after row of clothes…but then Cheland's eyes landed on something….amazing, it was a simple white halter sun dress. Her gaze was immediately enchanted. "OH.MY.GOD" she breathed, trying to contain her excitement.
"You like that?" Oliver followed her lead and smiled as well. He could already see her in that dress. Cheland's pale skin and light pink hair against a white dress would look perfect on her. "Here." Gently he grabbed her arm and led her to the dressing rooms. "Why don't you go try it on?"
Cheland nodded, she quickly disappeared inside the dressing room, she hurriedly put on the dress and stepped out. "What do you think?" She asked doing a little spin. Her cheeks turned pink, as she waited for a response.
"Beautiful." He said simply. Over wanted to walk over and kiss her in the forehead, like someone would do with a cute little sister, he had to remind himself that she wasn't his little sister though. Like he thought the dress looked stunning in that dress. "You're remarkably beautiful."
She blushed, "Thanks…It certainly beats an shirt"she giggled, allowing another twirl in her dress.
When Cheland blushed Oliver did as well, he covered his fa e a bit so it would be less noticeable. "Well you're going to need more then one dress, so how about looking for more clothes?" Light colors look best on her, that's what Oliver thought at least.
Her face lit up and she nodded, together they picked out a plethora of clothing until the cart was pretty much half full.
Oliver secretly pulled out his phone and checked how much he had in his bank account. "Okay, I'm good." He whispered to himself. "I'll go food shopping tomorrow, how about we go out tonight." The cashier started to scan all the clothes that were in the cart. "You can wear one of your new outfits."
"Where will we go?" She asked eagerly when it hit her, He's asking you out, her face immediatly turned bright red, "Uhm…Oliver……are you……are you asking me out on a date?" she asked.
"I mean, i-if you're going to be staying at my house, we should get to know each other right?" The clothes were put in the bags and Oliver picked them up as he shoved the cart to the side. "Are you okay with going on a date with a total stranger?" He hasn't been on a date in years, so the nerves took over. "Of course you can also say no, I won't get offended."
(Is this dead? Because I really liked this one.)
