He glanced down, "You okay?" He asked, moving a strand of her hair to the side.

"Hm?" Lil asked, and distorted her expression to something she hoped wasn't worry. "Yeah, I'm fine."

"Okay," He leaned down and kissed her forehead.

She patted his cheek and looked away quickly again. Oh, what am I going to do?

He smiled and went back to watching the cinematic masterpiece that is Doc McStuffins, although in his opinion Paw Patrol is better.

Lil swallowed nervously. I can't raise a child on my own!

He sighed, "Okay, something's wrong. What's the matter?"

"N-nothing's wrong," Lil said defensively.

"But there is, I can feel it. You can tell me."

"No, nothing's wrong. Don't worry."

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yeah."
