((OOC: Coffee, you may post anywhere in the city you feel is comfortable, no need to be part of the scene currently happening. Though if you would like, I can have a character elsewhere for you to try and interact with while Nasuko remains with Nerd's character if it helps you))

Nasuko had moved off to the side. He moved so his back now rested against the stone wall, slowly sliding downwards till he was sitting on the ground. The young male lifted a hand, removing the beanie that had once covered his head, running a hand through pale pink hair. His tail had curled up against his side, feeling a weight lift off of him so to speak.
The presence of that demon was enough to cause even a stout heart to panic. Then considering whom that beast answered to, the head of the Lamian HQ itself, it was just one of those things you didn't want to test and see. Of course, there would always be the idiots who would continue what they were doing, to only be blown into pieces by the creature. All called upon when her master called upon her abilities.

Nasuko happened to glance up, the woman having seemingly stopped to turn and look back towards them. Well, least she listened long enough to sit still and keep from doing anything while the demon was present, and taking leave with his 'Captain'. He returned his hat over his head, leaning back against the wall again.
The male's green eyes glanced upwards towards her, pupils round, showing he had relaxed again. For as brash and energetic he had been upon the first meeting, now he seemed to have calmed down, maybe a bit too much compared to his more bubbly self. Now he just sounded completely drained of all the energy he had once had.
"Yea, great, fine fucking-tastic…"
He grew quiet a for a few moments, then moved a hand rubbing the back of his head, shifting his gaze towards the ground, "Sorry…Khaliset, as you probably already know…hell, the whole city knows of that thing…just not very good memories with that thing."
The young man turned his green gaze back to 'D', as she referred to herself, if he remembered correctly, a hint of his smile had returned, "Anyways, yea, I've known the Captain for about five years now, first met him when I was twelve and first introduced to the practices of Lamian Headquarters…"
The male suddenly grew quiet. Yea, there were some, bad memories down that lane. Sure, some of those memories are what made him this day, but some memories were best forgotten.

A small bell jingled as he entered the usual small café that he made a point to stop in some time during the week, or more depending. This morning, he needed some kind of fix to get him through the day. It just felt like he was dragging, but then having staid up nearly the entire night going through paperwork, and then going out to shed to check on current new arrivals of creatures to the reserve, yea, it was just gonna be one of those weeks…
"Oh, hello Ragnor, the usual I assume?"
"Normally I'd say yes Miss Nirvana, but shit…OW!"
From behind the tall male, a small fae-like creature appeared hovering behind his head. Jade green eyes glared at the man, an angry chirping soon followed by a small, scolding voice from the little thing, "Ragnor! Language, especially in a public place!"
An annoyed growl came from the dark haired man as he lifted left arm, which was completely covered in a metallic gauntlet, rubbing the back of his head. He muttered a few choice words under his breath, glaring back at the small creature that hovered by his side.
"C'mon Eve, it's way too early in the morning for you to be beating me already…STOP!"
The small creature had actually reached over during his sentence, once again slapping the back of his head. At the seemingly distress of her master, Eve, as was her name, gave another chirrup. Her buzzing wings slowed down as she lowered herself onto the man's shoulder, crossing one leg over the other. She laid her long ears back, tail curled against her side.
"For being my familiar, you sure can get damn pushy. Aren't I the one suppose to be in charge?"
Eve rolled her eyes, "Without me, you'd be a mess. Always have to remind you to take your tonic, then look through your papers, and…"
Ragnor lifted a hand, lightly setting an armored finger on the creature's lips, "Alright, alright, I get it."
A soft chuckle came from the male, "You're right, I would be a miserable mess without your help."

Ragnor had moved towards a small table against a wall close to a large window. He set a large folder down in front of him, his unarmored hand wrapped around a mug of steaming liquid. The male lightly tapped a finger against the table, green eyes glancing over the papers before him.
As for little Eve, the creature was given a saucer with golden nectar. She took a few laps of substance, before walking over plopping herself on the side of the folder and papers. Her own green eyes were skimming through as her master did the same. The male paused for a moment, then suddenly sighed. He lifted his good hand, lightly rubbing his face, before returning it upon the table.
"Damn, still no luck trying to find good homes for familiars…"
Eve lifted her head, giving a questioning chirrup, then speaking, voice soft, "You're talking about Damascus, aren't you?"
Another sigh was her answer, before Ragnor did finally answer, "Yea…poor guy just needs someone to settle down with…I know he'd be a damn good familiar for any witch, wizard, whatever and whoever is out there…just not many want an unknown creature as a familiar."

"Ah. Why is it that he looks so fragile, when clearly he is not? Not meaning to offend you, of course. You're plenty frightening as is, if you try." Destiny lied–Nasuko seemed more like the opposite of a wolf in sheep's clothing. She shifted her weight a few times, keeping a keen eye on the area around them.
