Liz had moved a bit away from Ame and Null when Ame dissociated. She was still keeping a close eye on them, if Null tried to hurt her. Sure, she probably wouldn’t end up able to do much if Null did hurt Ame, but she could try. It’s not like she valued her life much anyway.
