Ellen flinched as the newcomer barged into their room. "Fricking knock for pete sake!"
(You can come socialize with us. Like you were trying to meet new people or something.)
(How tho?)
(Just knock I guess)
James was startled by the noise and his hands shot to his ears as he continued to rock.
Annette walked down the hallways. She found a door, and entered.
Ellen frowned. The newcomer reminded her of one of her previous foster parents. The one she had called Viper Woman. Not taking her eyes off the newcomer, she reached into her bag, trying to find something heavy. Just in case.
"Hello," James said quietly with hands still clamped over his ears.
"Hello. It's so nice to meet new people. I haven't been allowed to walk around for a while." she said, checking her fingernails casually.
Ellen's eyes darted to the newcomer. Another. Her hand found a thick book. "I didn't know my room was the frickin' gathering room." Ellen snapped. "What are you two doing here?"
"Exploring. Haven't met new people in years, except for nurses."
"Well piss off and explore somewhere else." She growled.
"Hello," James said again lowering his hands from his ears but still rocking back and forth.
"Oh, you don'tâĤ. like me? How sad, I thought we were friends here. I thought I was among friends. How sad." she said, frowning.
"We are friends, among friends,"
"You, are not my friend." Ellen said. She reminded her of Sham Gal. The one foster parent who had niceness plastered onto her face
Annette. Oh, what a mind. Juniper was happy whenever they did something together, experimenting on new people? What a joy! She was going to eat these people alive. Figuratively of course. Juniper wasn't good with figurative language, but Annette was someone who required use of figurative language for description.
"She doesn't seem to like me." Annette said, pointing at Ellen. "It seems she's afraid."
"Afraid of what?" James looked at Annette.
Ellen gripped the book tighter, scowling. "No I'm not! Why the hell would I be afraid of you?" She snarled.
"Memories, they must be so terrible. So terrible." she said, walking up to Ellen slowly.
"Too loud," James put his hands back over his ears.
"Woah! Calm down there, Emotions," Juniper said. She just used a nickname, those showed affection and/or acceptence according to her research.
"What are your names?"
Ellen's breathing hitched. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" The new girl's face was replaced with Sham Gal's. Ellen threw the book right at her head.
James began to hyperventilate at the commotion, swaying restlessly.
Annette caught the book. "That could have hurt me." she said, leaning forward, her face only a few inches away from Ellen's now. "Why would you do that?"
