(What would it be called?)
(What would it be called?)
( It's called The Marked Twins for now )
Ryan took the bag from the floor of his room, searching through it for some kind of decoration. He eventually came up with the photo of his brother and another of his family. He smiled, placing them in an empty frame on the bedside table. This will have to do for now.
Kameo sat on his bed, eyeing the poisons. If I run fast enough….
"Not happening," Cicada spoke aloud. Kameo was looking at his poisons and it didn't take much to put two and two together.
(Can we do a time skip? Nothing much has happened in a while…)
(sure, to the next location?)
(That'd be fine with me)
(…where were we going next?)
(Trieste I believe.)
( Yeah, Trieste. We can do a timeskip )
(alright, lets time skip)
The dock of Trieste was beautiful, full of ships and vendors and flowers. Trieste was the port sector after all. Kameo looked at it through his small window, marveling at the sight and wishing his mother and Ace were here. Mom danced here once…
Ryan had only been to Trieste once, and although he was there for a year he didn't take time to really appreciate it. The sector had a very homey feel to it, and the bustling crowds, vendors, performers, and vibrant colors made him smile to himself as he looked out from the deck.
Joanna finished composing her shopping list. 'I wonder who's all going on shore?'
Daso had never been to Treiste. He'd usually be excited, but he hadn't been able to feel excited in a while. All he wanted to do was mail his letter, and hope that the reply would reach the next port in time. He gazed at the skyline of the town with a bleak expression.
Leah looked at Trieste, her expression pained. It wasn't just her side that was hurting her. Everything was the same. The usual vendors, boats and dancers. Everything was there, but it looked so wrong. Something was missing. After all, Leah had always felt like something was missing ever since she had left her family behind.
As Joanna walked onto deck, her mind turned to the zombies again, asking the same question for the 1000th time. Was Pablo really dead? What about Tressa, Cass, and Cade?
Cicada walked up next to Leah, "Everything alright?"
"Just. . . my old home. I don't like coming here." Leah sighed, fiddling with the buttons on her coat. "But, there are some supplies I can use for Kameo's leg here."
"Well you could show me around the city?" Cicada asked her, "We can get Kameo's supplies on the way."
(Wait can I introduce my character now?)
(Yep.)
"Well you could show me around the city?" Cicada asked her, "We can get Kameo's supplies on the way."
( Yeah, you can introduce her now.)
"Of course." Leah nodded, but her mind had already started to wander as she watched the foggy skyline of the sector emerge.
Cicada looked at the boats, she recognized a few flags. She turned to Leah, "Aren't those Inquisitor ships?"
