Morrigan read through it carefully, each word heavy in her heart until there were tears in her eyes.
Lucian glanced at it from over her shoulder, rubbing her shoulder gently with his hand.

She looked at the bracelet. "It's pretty."
"Yeah," he agreed with a smile, twirling the faded fabric around his finger. "She was way better at making these than I was." His smile became devious. "Though now I have the idea stuck in my head that I could make friendship bracelets for the crew."
She smiled. "That's not a bad idea."
Leah laughed and looked down at the painting, running her hands over it lightly. "You guys must have been some crew. I would be scared." She said, looking back up at Cicada.

"Anyway, enough about that," he turned back to the half-finished lasagna. "Everyone's probably hungry and I'm not helping by distracting you."
"We were," Cicada smiled down at the painting, "I honestly none of what happened, happened."
"I'm happy that we found you." Leah smiled and watched Cicada look at the painting. "I missed having family around."
"It wasn't distracting Daso." She said, pulling out a jar of tomato sauce.
(Just so you know, Alpha (Kameo's dad) never wanted to be a gang leader. He wanted to support his family and make sure his son's future was assured, but as much as he though of himself as a hero, he began to slip away, becoming the notorious crime leader of the Crygs as he is now)
(And the only think Kameo and Balora (his mom) wanted was a good father and husband)
(I'll add one of the fight scenes between Balora and Alpha)
"I'm just trying to provide for this family!" Alpha slammed his fists on the table, face red.
Balora scrubbed at her dish furiously, "We don't need money, we want you!"
"I'm trying! Balora, I'm trying. It's because of me that we keep this family together!"
"You?! You?! You are the one tearing this family apart!" Balora screamed, dropping and shattering the dish in her hand.
Alpha buried his head in his hands, breathing rapidly, "Why can't you understand? We need to have support. We don't have any money, Balora. This family is in debt. We have to get money. For our son."
Balora pointed towards Kameo's room, "What your son wants is his dad. Not a criminal. Get some honest work!"
"I'm trying! This is Cielo for goddamn's sake! We're in the slum!" Alpha shouted, boiling with anger.
"Alpha, please. Please. Why can't it go back to the way it was?"
"Nothing will ever go back to the way it was! I'm a different man now, Balora."
Kameo stepped out into the room, rubbing his eyes, "Why are you two fighting?"
Balora stepped closer, hugging her son, "We're not fighting honey, just having a small disagreement. Now go back to bed."
"I guess I did too," Cicada looked up and smiled at Leah, "And I think I missed being on the seas in general."
Daso pulled out the cheese and began grating it back and forth on the cheese grater. "Glad you think so. Although, if we don't finish soon, people will complain."
(Oh Kam Kam.)

"Well they'll just have to deal with it. 'Sides, I'm sure some of them are busy." She said, pulling out a pan.
