"Yeah." he took a seat on the floor, "Hey, I made a new poison when I was in there. I call it 'Violet Haze.' It's pretty cool."

"Do you have it on you?" Leah asked curiously, sitting down next to him.

"Yeah." Kameo pulled out a small glass vial from his coat, sloshing the purple liquid in its glass enclosure.

Leah leaned in, watching the liquid. "I can see where the name comes from." She finally said, looking up at Kameo.

"Do you know what it does? It attacks the nerves, making the body subject to paralysis and then your whole system shuts down." Kameo smiled, "I haven't been able to make a cure for it."

While his daughter analyzed maps in her office, Aaron Corvia woke up in a hospital bed, nurses and doctors swarming him. “Wh-where am I?”, he slurred, having been just pulled from his delirium by a nurse pulling a needle from his arm. “The hospital, General Corvia.”, the nurse said gently, tugging off his bloody gloves. Aaron blinked, hazy memories coming through the thick, murky fog in his head. “My daughter….. Luke boy. Luci—Lucian.” His parched mouth shaped the words sloppily. “Shh, sir, rest. You had a heart attack, rest a while.” Aaron tried to protest, but the floor seemed to tilt beneath him and his vision went double before he plunged back into a deep sleep.

(Oml that conversation between Morrigan and Leah had me weak lmaooo and I don’t know whether to discuss if Lucian’s virginity, so I’ll just leave it at ‘people get bored during med-school’)

Lucian clicked his pen as he scribbled a few words down on a paper, his food sitting nearby. His foot tapped on the floor as he did his best to concentrate on the files that sat in front of him.

Morrigan pushed the maps aside, finished, and her eyes fell in her knife. Strangely, she fel t no compelling urge to pick it up, only a surge of revulsion. She kicked it aside, striding over to her bedside table where her antidepressants stood.

(Oof, I don’t know what to do with him)

Lucian wrote a few more things down before tucking the paper into Kam’s file. He shifted the extra papers aside and slid the file back into its spot in the bin that was sat next to his desk.

Daso leaned against the edge of the boat, the sea breeze sprinkling his face with mist. His mind was years away, back to when he first met the crew of the Andromeda. A small smile flitted across his face. The entire crew had been so unimpressed with him –from the torn up navy outfit covered by a stolen cloak, to the tangled curls that stuck out in every direction on his head, he'd been an unimpressive sight. He was about to be sent packing, but the kid with the violet eyes had stuck up for him. He never really knew why. Maybe it was because they were so similar. Whatever the case, Ace had defended the new stowaway until Leah finally gave in.

The story made him smile, even if the smile was a sad one. He'd really miss Ace.

Cicada walked out onto the deck, she saw Daso staring off into the sea. She decided to leave him alone and walked towards the side of the deck.

Joanna yawned and pushed herself up from the table. She fingered the thing she had been working on after she had cleaned up the dishes. She looked at her fingers. She had some cuts from where the knife had slipped a couple of times. She'd have to go see Lucian about that.

Lucian tugged out a few old files that the previous medic had written down. There were some from crew members that he hadn’t known, but the one labeled Ace in small writing caught his attention. He took it from the box of files and opened it, flipping through the organized papers and photos with a tense frown.
