Welcome to the team.

What sort of team is this you may ask?

A kaiju hunting one, of course! They're not kaiju in the traditional sense; but they fit in the general definition; a giant monster with special abilities of some sort; or none at all. These kaiju are viewed as pests to many planets; and as such hire many teams nicknamed Kaiju Hunters to deal with them. This specific team; having originated off of Earth is called Team Terra, although not all of the members are necessarily human. In general, though, most of the teams are nicknamed Takedown Teams by the majority of the public.

Our first case: Planet Choaliv, a desert planet with a bright sun and home to a 30 meter kaiju, named Terlas, who's known for interrupting the mining processes of the inhabitants of Choaliv. Better deal with it - and see where your job takes you…

Yeah so welcome to TT! Takedown Team is a kaiju hunting action RP - you fly the stars in an all-purpose ship, following where the money goes; aka hunting these kaiju! However, it isn't all fighting! TT also has a focus on relationship building, teamwork, and more! You'll need teamwork for some of these kaiju; trust me, and with the time for travelling between jobs, you'll get some time to mingle as well..

RULES

1. Nothing too OP or invincible.
2. Swearing is allowed!
3. I will be controlling the kaiju for the time being. I will have my own characters to be as well, however.
4. Speaking of characters, you can have multiple, but make sure you're able to control them all!
5. Violence is okay, but we don't need paragraphs and paragraphs on gore. In the event that a fight breaks out, of course.
6. Speaking of such, should that occur.. please do not auto-hit! And don't dodge everything either, try to make it a fair battle.
7. Dislike the character, not the person playing them.
8. If you're not gonna be on for a bit, notify me, and we'll just say your character went into hypersleep for a while.
9. Try to be active, but I also have things to do, so just try to be on a few days a week at the least (unless refer above)

KAIJU DATABASE

All Kaiju are put into categories. Alpha class, being the strongest, while Epsilon; being the 'weakest' (although these kaiju should not be taken lightly, either.) The classes in order are Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon. Kaiju have a variety of food sources, take this into note if dealing with a difficult case. Perhaps you could poison it..although you'd need a lot of poison, or very strong poison. All kaiju have a weakness to Sabarsite, a type of mineral, although this is extremely rare and thus if you want it you'll have to find it on another planet.

Name: KH3345, otherwise known as 'Ranger' around the ship and teasingly, "know-it-all". KH claims to not care about either names, other than KH3356.
Age: 3 years since creation. Programmed to be around 20-30.
Species: Robot
Gender: Was not programmed to have one. Goes by they/them, and doesn't really care, either. Usually, he/him/his however. Still doesn't care.
Sexuality: Not programmed for that stuff. Doesn't understand love.
Appearance: A 6'1 tall robot, KH's material is made of an unknown but durable metal, painted charcoal grey. Retaining a humanoid appearance, KH is very mobile, although the unit that they belong to is generally quite mobile in general, and tends to scare people because of this; they could pretend to be a human under certain conditions.

The eyes; or as KH words them, "sensors" are, as a default blue. They aren't very human like eyes, the sclera being black and the iris being a bright blue, and the pupils remaining black again. He has two of them, however. He lacks human ears, or visible ones. There isn't too much to note on KH..other than, he is a robot. His nose is also not very visible. He also doesn't seem to have a mouth..so maybe, human was not in mind when making his facial features.

Clothing: KH wears a dark green trenchcoat, and black pants tucked into black boots. He doesn't care about temperature, given he is a robot. One without temperature sensors. It isn't really necessary for him to wear clothing, but he does, just because.
He sometimes wears a black hat with a small yellow star on the front of it. On certain planets, he wears a helmet as well. Or for certain missions.
Job: KH's unit "Kaiju Hunter" is made with kaiju hunting teams in mind, but they have a variety of jobs. KH, in general, tends to give information for jobs if asked. Like, "KH, what is this kaiju we're going to meet soon?" or "KH what do we do?" Answers may vary. I don't recommend asking for personal advice, though.
KH also wields dual blasters. Just in case.

Backstory: KH was built on Earth (otherwise known as TERRA) and was set for sale for any team that wanted it. Luckily, Terra Team happened to be there and purchased him, and he's been a member of Terra Team for almost 3 years now. He's seen people come and go. But he's here to stay. At least, for now.
Personality: KH was originally, a no-nonsense, very bland robot, when he first came to TT. His personality can change, but it was programmed with a base - follow the rules, and get the job done. Presently speaking, KH is still pretty serious, and doesn't understand a lot of things that "organics" speak of. He does learn quickly, and generally remembers, as well. He doesn't show a lot of emotion either, but that's because he wasn't programmed with emotion in mind. He shows it a lot more often however, compared to when he first joined. He does seem to be a tinge sarcastic and has a rare sense of humour.

Name: Strex
Age: 22 (44 human years)
Species: Alien; Axed species.
Gender: Female.
Sexuality: Bi-romantic, leaning towards men more.
Appearance: 6'4 tall female alien with a reptilian appearance. Digitigrade legs, and camo green scales with the scales getting lighter towards her underbelly and such. Lightly muscled. Described as iguana like in appearance, with a dewlap under her neck. Light brown eyes and dark green spots on her back. Long tail, and within her mouth is a blue tongue, and somewhat short but sharp teeth; as well as two venomous-snake-like teeth. Her "snout" is somewhat broad. Long, black claws as well.
Clothing: In general, Strex wears dark yellow shorts and a t-shirt, and also wears a leather jacket as well. When doing the Kaiju Hunting stuff, she wears green armour with a helmet suited to fit her head. The latter only applies to her when going on foot, most kaiju hunting is not done on foot but can be. If it is on foot you usually have jetpacks of some sorts. She prefers not to wear shoes, stating they're "too restrictive".
Job: Usually navigating in the cockpit, but Strex also does some driving (when on land or on water). Perfect driver when near deadly kaiju!
Prefers using heavier weapons, that need two hands to use (or at least two)

Backstory: Born on a jungle planet known as Itis, but moving to Earth when she was 13 (26 in human).
She always held a degree of interest in the kaiju hunters and when she was able to, she joined the academy. Aliens (at this time, not as much anymore) tended to face discrimination but she wasn't too bothered by it due to a threat she made to the bullies; which she also got in trouble for.
Graduated at 18 Axed years and quickly joined TT. Has been there for a while, even longer than KH, and she states she will be there for a very, very long time.
Personality: She's described as somewhat loud and bold, but also defensive, especially over friends or the team. She lets emotion control her sometimes, which isn't that good for her. She is friendly however, and tries her best. She has a sense of humour.

Other: Axed are reptilians, and are generally weaker to colder climates. Thus, she likes her quarters on the ship "warm." Axed females generally tend to be larger than Axed males, and also have venomous teeth. Their venom has medical properties, however, and even in cooking. Males of her species generally have brighter scales, other than the usual earthy tones for females. They (the males) also have red cobra like hoods on their heads and necks.
Axed also shed, but they do not shed all at once.
Strex mainly eats meat and insects. The Axed have a general reputation of being bone eaters.

I'd love to do this! I don't always do group RPs since not everyone is on at once and if my character is interacting with another and their user isn't online and more pLOt is happening it's difficult but this sounds fun!

Name: Freya (Not really her name since it is unpronounceable in most languages, but she likes how 'Freya' sounds)
Age: 25 (about 200 earth years)
Species: Alien, Gemmeran
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Doesn't really have one. She will 'copulate' with whatever suits her fancy at the moment.
Appearance: She stands at 6 foot exactly, with an extremely thin sleek frame with a skin tone darker than pitch. Freya appears to have no mouth because the seam of her lips blends in with the rest of her skin, and she doesn't speak out of it, instead choosing to communicate telepathically with her cohorts. She does this mostly because her mouth is full of razor sharp venom fangs that terrify everyone. She has a tail that is thin and extremely long, usually coiling on the ground behind her; it is tipped in white barbs on the end. Her bones are flexible along with the rest of her, so she is a very capable contortionist and her fingers are tipped in long deadly nails that seem to be made out of a fleshy metal. Her eyes are large and tilted upward in an elegant slant, almost like a cats and opalescent solid white in color with a large light lavender pupil. Her head is topped with long thick 'hair' that is equally black as the rest of her form, except they are more along the lines of super thin, flexible, antennae. She usually will keep it braided back behind her small horns that swoop up from her forehead and lay back against her skull.
Clothing: Generally, Freya will wear large loose clothing in muted colors because she thinks that her form scares people. But underneath she wears a fitted bodysuit that holds all her weapons and utility items. She never wears shoes and always wears a cloak with a hood and scarf outside the ship.
Job: Freya is a pilot. Best there is. Ask anyone. She is just able to figure out any technology just by looking at it for a few moments. She claims that machines tell her how to use them, but no one has been able to confirm this.
Backstory: A Gemmeran refugee, Freya was born on a dying planet in the middle of yet another war in which her people were getting exterminated. Her family was able to escape to a planet free of war, but the Kaiju killed off the rest of them. It is thought that she may be the last of her kind. She hunts because that is all she knows how to do at this point. And she likes it. Sorta.
Personality: Freya is very quiet, but not because she is shy, she just prefers to watch over speaking. Although, if the situation comes down to it she will always always speak her mind without any care for the consequences. She is very kind and thoughtful, intelligent and sharp as a blade. Kind of has a raunchy sense of humor. Quick to rage when she is in a mood, so everyone knows to stay out of her way. He enjoys the family unit that seems to be forming upon their hunting ship and that seems to be bringing her more out of her funk.
Other: Freya's body is able to adapt to any environment, even space.

Name: Ean Caldwell
Age: 21
Species: human
Gender: male
Sexuality: gay
Appearance: Most of the time, Ean doesn't pay much attention to his appearance, so he (almost) always looks a bit disheveled. He is a kind of a beanpole of a guy, since he is tall (6' 1") and somewhat scrawny with long limbs. Ean has dark brown, constantly messy curly hair which he likes to wear bandanas or goggles or whatever he can find because he thinks it looks cool. Ean has a mocha skin tone and a smattering of freckles across his nose and cheeks as well as his shoulders. He has dimples when he smiles and a slightly upturned nose. He has long eyelashes for guy, and eyebrows that would look really nice if he ever actually tried to maintain them, so they're a bit on the unkempt side (like most things about him). Despite all of this, his messiness is almost charming in a way, and he is a bit angel-faced with big, innocent hazel eyes.
Clothing: When indoors, typically something that is cool, as he works to repair things. When he goes outside, he typically wears whatever he can find on his floor that's fairly clean(the idea of cleaning is not a concept he takes to heart, unless it has to do with the actual ship and not his personal stuff). His normal outfit usually consists of goggles (which he likes to put on top of his head like sunglasses), a t-shirt, cargo pants, and combat boots. He will also wear a jacket, depending on the weather. In combat (he's actually a pretty good fighter), he has black and bright blue body armor he designed himself.
Job: He is primarily the mechanic and engineer, but might be able to be the gunner in a pinch. He can't pilot or clean for shit, though.
Backstory: As a little boy, Ean always wanted to be a pilot. His older brother, Aldren, was a pilot, and Ean looked up to him more than anyone else in his life. Unfortunately, once Ean got old enough to try his hand at piloting, he realized he was terrible at it. At first it really stung, but now he gets teased about it sometimes and is able to laugh it off (mostly). However, ever since Ean was young, he's always been fascinated with how things work and had big ideas, so he started learning about the ships themselves and became an engineer. He loves fixing and making things. It is his way of calming down and avoiding his emotions. Anyway, Ean thought he and Aldren would always be close, but then Aldren went away to piloting school and they drifted apart. When he came back it was like he was a different person. Ean has never been close with his father, who was always cold and distant to him, and Ean's mother died when he was ten, killed by the kaiju, though they were never very close either. Deep down he feels guilty that they weren't closer.
Personality: Ean is upbeat and carefree, except when in battle. He is smart and likes solving problems and thinking outside of the box, however he tends to do a lot of overthinking. He likes to flirt and tell jokes, though his jokes aren't always very funny. He is charming and an extrovert. He loves talking to people and making plans and diagrams. Ean hides most of his feelings, however, because he likes to be known as the positive and upbeat person, and telling people how he feels would ruin that. He wants to be everyone's friend, and sometimes his need to be liked makes him do stupid things. He is very defensive of his friends and loyal to them. He can be self-sacrificing sometimes, since he is so others-focused and is just genuinely kind to everyone. Despite being smart, he doesn't always think before he acts and can get himself in trouble easily.

Backstory: Originally from the planet, Yecury, Vexhorc was actually banished from his family group. The reasons are unclear why, as he doesn't much like to talk about it. Though everyone has their own belief of why.
Vexhorc was only found by chance by a TT Team when they had come to his planet in search of a certain Kaiju. Vex, as they started calling him for short, was also tracking said 'monster'. With his skills, the TT Team found the beast. It was Vex who helped defeat the Kaiju, which in turn earned him respect by the hunting team.
Vex then told the group he had no home, and so they asked if he would like to join them and help hunt the Kaiju. The alien creature happily jumped on the opportunity, now joining a new TT Team.
Personality: Is quite friendly, would rather find fun doing his work than worrying about possible death, though there are times where his decisions are questionable
Other: English isn't his first language, so sometimes it is hard to understand him
